Thats the worst I have ever seen. I still remember the photo of Oscar looking at his newly won belt with a nauseated look on his face.
Of course nobody's going to mention a German fighter getting robbed in Germany. Doesn't fit the theory some have that it's impossible to beat a German guy on his turf.
For personal reasons Simone Maludrottu's "win" against Damaen Kelly in their first contest was a ****ing awful decision. Strange thing was it was in Belfast. No hometown judges there that night I can tell ya. I gotta go with Reid-Ottke overall though.
It would bother me more if Foreman wasn't absolutely gifted against Shultz. That was just as bad. Worst ever? RJJ in the Olympics was pretty terrible but Lennox-Holyfield I is the worst to me.
I never saw Roy Jones fight in the Olympics, but i remember these: 1. Axel Shultz vs George Foreman 2. Hearns vs Leonard 2 3. Oscar vs. Mosley 2 4. Lennox vs Evander 1
Whitaker putting on a virtual shutout in his 15th pro fight against Ramirez only to lose the decision is the worst I have ever seen. Being as generous as I can to Ramirez, I would give him 2 rounds.
Then beats his ass in a fight. Ouch. To me, Holyfield-Lewis 1. Just because it was so clear. Not people's different tastes and such, that fight wasnt close, it's as clear a decision as you can possibly arrive at, and damn, the outcome was wrong.
Not at all, that fight wasn't a robbery. I understand why Whitaker fans think he won the fight, but DLH landed the far more significant shots and Whitaker mostly clowned. 7-5 DLH.
