I give it to all 3 Judges who scored the Edwin Rodriguez vs. Marcus Upshaw fight. . . I just watched this fight and I honestly think this was one of the worst decisions of all time! I overheard Marcus Upshaw once saying "I got robbed in this fight." I just thought to myself, "Yeah right, every Boxer that ever loses a decision thinks he was robbed." Then I saw all 3 Judges scored it 60-54 so I really didn't believe him. Out of curiosity I ordered the fight and just watched it. All I can say is WOW! Edwin Rodriguez threw more Punches in Round 1 but hardly anything landed. Marcus landed twice as many Punches. After a competitive first round Marcus Won Rounds 2, 3, & 4 easily. Especially Round 3. Edwin got murked that Round! Marcus was making him miss and landing at will. Round 5, the ONLY Round I'd give to Edwin. But Marcus finished strong and Won Round 6. I scored it 59-55 for Marcus Upshaw. How it was scored 60-54 for Edwin Rodriguez is an infuriatingly bad decision. All 3 Judges Win the "Worst Scorecard Award" in this fight. Another annoying thing about this fight was the commentating. A Rhode Island show, Edwin had a Rhode Island trainer, (Peter Manfredo) A Rhode Island Promoter, & there was Rhode Island commentators. (Vinny Pazienza one of them) The dickeating was out of control. Vinny Pazienza and the other guys are trying to justify Edwin Rodriguez is doing a good job as his neck is getting snapped back and he's missing these wild shots, it's actually quite humorous! I don't think Barnum & Bailey themselves could've put together a better circus.
Doug Jones - Christian Mijares vs Jose Navarro - 120-108 to Navarro Pierre Benoist - Sergio Martinez vs Paul Williams - 119-110 to Williams Newton Campos - Pernell Whitaker vs Jose Luis Ramirez I - 118-113 to Ramirez Louis Michel - Pernell Whitaker vs Jose Luis Ramirez I - 116-115 to Ramirez
Worst scorecard, worst decisions, has to be Martinez and Cintron. Also the Casamayor vs Santa Cruz kid... These fights for me are clear robberies and bad scorecards. I just dislike when many claim certain fighters have been rob when the fights really have rounds that could go either way and only by a round or two could go either way. That is not a bad scorecard.
jose guerra had it 118-110 leonard in leonard vs hagler i felt leonard won but come on that was ridiculous also jerry roth 115-113 trinidad vs DLH.....reprehensible also giving mosley a draw against mora was bad.i had mosley winning no more than 3 rounds
