I'm not sure names like Sanchez, Hughes, and Mir deserve to be in a thread of WORST stand up in MMA. :hop
The best fighter with the worst stand up has to be Hughes. He was unbeatable for a while and has terrible stand up.
You've obviously never watched any of those guys punch. Hughes' stand-up consists of crossing his arms back and forth and sidestepping in with a jab, Diego's is running forward in a straight line pumping piston punches, and Mir's is his patented left-right-uppercut combo that's worked on exactly one opponent. If you don't think they're horrible you either haven't watched their fights or you were drunk when doing so and can't remember clearly. Or, like 99% of the posters in the MMA forum, you just don't know what you're talking about.
:rofl:rofl:rofl Big props to Maynard for doing so much with so little but that was a disgusting farce and I was actually hoping that kicks would be allowed- Maynard is technically not grounded since that's how he "stands"- because that punt would have been epic.
