The worst stoppage I've ever seen was the 14th round stoppage in Leonard vs. Hearns I. Hearns just wasn't hurt that badly and he wasn't taking hard shots. Leonard coerced the ref into stopping the fight and the ref fell for it. Later, Leonard demanded that Hearns admit it was a good stoppage in order to have a Leonard/Hearns II. This showed to me Leonard knew it was a bad stoppage.
Hearns was spent. The stoppage was fine, it could have come the round before when Hearns was offering next to nothing. Leonard was just a wanker, so it wouldn't surprise me if your last point was true (I don't know either way). Hagler and Hearns (in the return) both beat his ass and he got the benefit of any doubt, which is a shame.
worst stoppage was tyson seldon.... 2 knockdowns caused by NO punch... yet, SELDON acted hurt "AFTER" the ref stopped it... some say it was one of those "tyson-rigged" fight
Not sure if it counts as a stoppage but Cintron vs Williams was pretty bad considering Cintron said he was ok to continue to the doctors
hahaha,i've seen this one done a few times now...have you seen the whole fight? go and watch it,then come back and say it was a bad stoppage. why do people make comments on fights that they haven't even seen....it makes me laugh when people are this stupid.
Half of Calzaghe's wins are nothing more than some one paying the local referee to give JC a TKO. I must have seen at least 3 or 4 Calzaghe video/gif stoppage that looks so embarrassing to JC and his fans. He actually needs help crushing cans. LOL
You seen only 3 or 4 fights (some even gif's hahahaha) yet you claim half of his fights were wrongly stopped. What a wanker
