    Are you thinking of Morrison vs Tim Tomashek? That's the one where Morrison literally fought somebody from the crowd to defend his WBO.

    Khan for the MW championship of the world against Canelo, in place of Golovkin. Though Khan was a top fighter in lower divisions, under the circumstances and given Khan's vulnerabilities, that was an outright abomination. Funny, but an abomination.

    It was definitely Joe Hipp, I believe both took major damage (Tommy had a broken jaw, Hipp was cut and battered)

    I think :confused:

    Charles Martin has to be right up there...

    Beyond embarrassing watching him fight Joshua. Even in victory Joshua didn't want to be there.

    Kell Brook had two very poor mandatory challengers assigned to him by the IBF before he got lumbered with Spence.

    Never saw that fight, and I'm actually a bit of intrigued of how this came to fruition.
    time for some educated guesswork.

    What we know, according to boxrec;
    Clarke was 1-1-1 in his last 3 fights and 2-3-1 in his last 6.
    Clarke only won a single fight after the Vargas encounter and went 1-68-0-1 for the rest of his career. (sweet jesus!)
    The fight before the Vargas one was an 8 round decision win (78-77 referee score) against Jason Papillion of the US, who was 30-2-1 and coming of a 13 fight winstreak.

    Knowing how boxing works, these -according to me- are the most likely scenarios;
    1) Vargas was supposed to fight the much more capable and higher ranked Papillion, who took another fight against an easy to beat journeyman, and because he couldn't dispose of him inside the 8 rounds, the partial referee scored the fight for his countryman robbing the American blind. So, eventually Vargas ended up with the jouneyman instead.
    2) More likely imo... Clarke, getting the decision (probably a hometown robbery) over Papillion, just made in into the IBF top15 and Vargas or his management cherrypicked him for a very easy win/defense.

    Dan Sherry gave Eubank a tough fight, it was close until he jumped on the floor after getting butted by a fustrated Eubank.

    Seniesa Estrada knocking out Miranda Adkins this past weekend....a 42 year old who started boxing at 39 was particularly disgusting.
