i dont see the rascism but then again i am from one of the most rascist parts of the country

supposedly my Great Grandad (a huge boxing fan but sadly we never met) used to bite coins he got from black people in front of them to check it was real and called them a few bad names.

and as for my Mum shes pretty rascist growing up round here

Just a generational thing, i have been reading an excellent boxing book, 'They Could've Been Contenders' (Jim McNeill) and it has some excellent insights into the racism against black boxers in the days of J L Sullivan et al....

yeh the rascism round here in rural aberdeenshire must have been horrendous like my Grandad who was a nice guy spoke to anyone desrcibed black people with rascist words but he didnt mean to be offensive. Just round here they wasnt trusted or accepted but its thankfully changed now but there arnt alot of foregneirs where i live. I havent read that book but it sounds ggood.

i still carnt beleive people are still going on about this fight get over it , i beat him and i would beat him again and again , doesnt matter who was watching there was only me and john in the ring and if u remember the ref said to john he was givin him 1 more round with the cut on his head , and he ended up letting it go
