Yes they were good punches but after the victories they did nothing. Both of these guys were good fighters but not good champs and that is the topic on this thread.
a member of the 1980 olympic boxing team, ran his record to 35-0, ran into a buzz saw named mike tyson and lost.... just because it was one of the shortest reigns, doesnt make him one of the worst....you obviously get your info from shitty youtube videos and 3rd party info
and the fact you cant figure out how to put up an avatar shows your ignorance This content is protected
I never bothered wih a pic you *****. Secondly, it is irrelevant what Tucker did before he became champ this is talking about the worst champs. Read my other comments as I rescinded the statement saying that he was not so bad acknowledging another posters points. But the fact is he nver resurfaced jack-as and I watched these guys in the 80's not via youtibe and third parties as you absurdly. Go back to psuedo-wrestling and jacking off to juice heads in man tights.
Anthony Mundine... not the worst but pretty average at best! held the WBA Regular SMW belt an defended multiple times but mostly against Argentinian cab drivers who werent even the best in their home country. Lost it against a mediocore Manny Siaca. Eventually won back the vacant title by knocking out Sam Solimon. Then a few more defences against terrible quality opposition before vacating to avoid super champ Mikkel Kessler dropped to Middleweight and beat Daniel Geale in a contriversial close fight for the IBO strap. only to vacate it and duck Geale in the rematch. Now he's ducking Austin Trout to target Rigoberto Alvarez for the WBA Interim JMW belt and his record brreaking 3rd championship in 3rd division in desending order! Despite a **** load of natural talent... didnt make much of his "Championship reign". he was pretty much always the weakest champion in the divison
Baldomir might be pretty average, but to his credit at least he beat Judah and David Diaz was always the classic overachiever, who I think had his interim belt upgraded to become a champ. Gavin Rees, kinda falls into the David Diaz mold of underachiever .. and he's under sized to boot but I'm gonna bring up a guy who probably won't get much consideration for worst, but considering how long his reign was, should at least get mild consideration Paulie M. all he did as a belt holder was beat Ngoudjo and Lovemore in decisions where he started out good, but injured his hand .. not his fault that he got stripped as those Alphabet orgs tend to do shady things but another reason is skill wise IMO Paulie is very over rated as just look at his big fights (with losses to Cotto, and completely wiped out vs Khan + Hatton) ... admittedly he should have gone 2-0 vs Juan Diaz but still he's lost most of his big fights, and his skills are often over rated on the boards I read
even tho i agree that maskaev was a bad champ i have no hate on the man unlike that **** ruiz maskeav showed alot of heart and took the hard way to the top besides you cant blame him for a shitty first title defense he just didn't want to risk it but showed balls when he took on sam peter thats way more than what ****s like ruiz do
