That seems like the case. His poor movement / warring was probably out of necessity because of his hip, combined with a 100% focussed Sturm meant he had little chance. Shame really.

It was dislocated - according to reports he was carried into the hospital on a stretcher.

Does Barker have DDH (developmental dysplasia of the hip)?

What the f.u.c.k are you talking about mate? It's been reported that his hip is dislocated - are you implying that isn't the case? That we're being deceived?

--A hip dislocation occurs when the head of the thighbone (femur) slips out of its socket in the hip bone (pelvis). --

--A hip dislocation is very painful.

and, if there is nerve damage, may not have any feeling in the foot or ankle area.--

--Falls from a height (such as a fall from a ladder) or industrial accidents can also generate enough force to dislocate a hip.--

--How can I pop my hip back into place?

It's not likely that it's out of place. Something else must be going on that's making you feel this way. Without other symptoms mentioned it's not clear what this could be. If you are having problems with movement, bearing weight, then a full evaluation should be made. History is also very impotant- eg. a recent history of trauma or a joint disorder would influence a diagnosis in this case.--

--Q:Last night i was laying flat on my back and decided to turn on my left side to go to sleep. After i turned over and my legs relaxed my right hip popped (felt like it was dislocated or something-PAINFUL) so i immediately sat up and it just popped back into place. The pain was gone for the most part but its hard for me to walk without some pain. It is also difficult to put alot of pressure on my right leg.

A: You did not dislocate your hip. Unless you were born with

and have a very shallow acetabulum (hip socket) or you have had a severe injury where the hip socket is now deformed, it is very difficult to dislocate a hip.--

Developmental dysplasia of the hip is a problem with the way that the hip joint develops. It is usually present from birth and is more common in girls. When developmental dysplasia of the hip is diagnosed and treated early in a young baby, the outcome is usually excellent. If treatment is delayed, the treatment is more complex and with less chance of being successful.--

Thanks for the prognosis, doctor. Who is this clown?

If you'd bothered to have read the various articles that have appeared, instead of boring us with your ignorant suppositions, you'd know that Barker has CONGENITAL issues with his hips - in common parlance, his socket is too large for the joint, hence the operation that involved shaving excess bone.

You're basically questioning the integrity of Barker & his team, and the various reports that emerged following the defeat. That's just stonewalling and rampant cynicism - nothing I can say to that.

My father-in-law has had hip replacement surgery on both hips and follow up surgery twice on each hip as the replacements wore out. He has dislocated his hip twice one of the times I witness. The man is old fashioned and I have never seen him complain but he shouted the house down in pain. I could see it was excruciatingly painful. The idea of him being able to walk was something you'll could not conceive in any way shape or form.

I have worn the cartridge down in my own hips from a lot of sport and heavyweight lifting and have arthritis in both hips. I have not used running for exercise since I was 30 as my hips get too inflamed. Boxing with dodgy hips at such a high level must be a nightmare for Barker especially if arthritis starts to restrict movement. In saying that I in no way believe Barker dislocated a hip. He would not have been able to stand up.

"It felt like my hip popped out, to be honest. We'll find out tomorrow for sure".

So he hasn't gone to hospital, or he didn't get diagnosed there!?

Yet the story was out last night and made his fans to worry. :patsch

I always look at match-ups objectively and just thought if both guys were at their best then Sturm would win a pretty comfortable decision or by stoppage victory if he started fast which he obviously did.

What are you insinuating? I think they did go to the hospital for a once-over but he's seeing a specialist later on.

Overhill your entire posts amount to implicit accusations of dishonesty and deceit from Barker and his camp - there's no reason to believe that; you're making these caviling points that don't amount to anything at all. You're acting like a 10 year old.
