Theres a difference between being wobbled and being one punch away from getting knocked out. That situation was one of things that goes round this forum until people think it must be true. Watch it again and tell me if you honestly think Hatton is realistically one punch away from a KO in that situation.

BTW you are right about a check hook, Manny Stewart called it for HBO as it happened in the Maywether fight but I don't see that Hatton was in any danger of getting one off Lazcano seeing as the guy hadn't thrown one all night?

i've watched the fight a few times and i really believe ricky was hurt and one more big punch and would've been in serious danger of being KO'd, maybe not one alone.

how the heck can a guy that spends so much time in a boxing forum tell me a check hook doesn't exist. :-(

'Check hook' is just a counter left hook and why there needs to be this special name for it is beyond me...

Might as well say Lewis beat Tua thanks to his Straight-Pole Left.

Hatton was buzzed by Lazcano, but not in danger of being taken out IMO.

Collazo had him much worse :deal
