Would £5,000,000 be enough to coax Calzaghe out of retirement?

Eubanks went on afterwards to have the Thompson fights, who himself beat David Haye 20 something years later.

Eubanks also came on stronger late on in the fight.

Almost a prime Eubanks, although the way Calzaghe outclassed him means people assume it wasn't.

Both of the Thompson fights were fantastic. I re-watched them recently and I'd forgotten quite how savage they were. Eubank would've won both of them had he not been fighting completely blind in one eye from the halfway mark. The only reason he got stopped in the rematch was because he stupidly agreed to take the fight (to help save the card from being called off after Naz pulled out injured) before his eye had time to heal properly, which is why it flared up again in the rematch. I'm also a big Carl Thompson fan too.
