Would 36 year old Tszyu have beat Hatton if Cortez have reffed the fight?

zoo lost the war of nutrition, he simple was to tired.not hurt from hattons punches just was wore the **** out.were when hatton fought pbf, hatton was the guy he got tired.which was weird to me because hatton ruffs you up and wears you down, and if cortez did not let hatton fight his fight then why the hell was hatton so tired in that fight.no one has better conditioning to mayweather jr not even hatton.

pbf was fresh and could have went 15 rds with hatton.hatton was the one gasping after the 7rd.its a good thing he did not get to waste energy trying to wrestle anyays.might have got stoped sooner.

There was a slight difference - Tszyu got knackered because of the pace Hatton was setting in close.

Hatton was having to chase Mayweather around the ring, and as soon as he got him, he was being pulled away by Cortez!

That said, Mayweather is the fittest fighter I have seen in a ring, certainly better conditioned than Danny Williams or James Toney!

Tszyu won the 3 rounds prior to getting smashed in the goolies and was starting to put the hurt on Hatton. End of story.

In Australia Tszyu would have knocked him out just like Mayweather did.

Not because Cortez refs the fight in a manner which depends on whom he has been told to assist. He would likely have tried to assist Hatton.

this was the first hatton fight i've ever seen and i still can't stand the guy to this day. a simply horrible looking "boxing" match that the crowd ate up b/c hatton, their hero, was the one pulling all the ugly ****. i just can't stand watching the guy fight and loved watching him get laid on his ass by a master boxer.

I think what spooked Hatton fans the most was the fact that Cortez refereed the Castillo fight, and pretty much let both of them get on with it.

Fast forward to the Mayweather fight, and you get interference etc.

I am a Hatton fan, but still think he would have lost anyway!

    Haha, war of nutrition

Yeah, there's no way Tszyu was ever going to be able to out-eat Ricky...!

I don't think the ref would have made a difference, Hatton was like a man possessed that night and walked through a couple of bombs from Tszyu at the start of a couple of rounds if I remember rightly.

Hatton will never fight a fight like that again, he peaked that night.

pbf did a LOT more illegal things to hatton than hatton did to koysta.

in the hatton/koysta fight it was rough, and they were as bad as each other when it came to illegal stuff and that wasn't much.

I had Tszyu leading comfortably prior to the bollock-smash from Hatton, after that he faded pretty quickly, it did take a lot out of him. I've watched the fight several times and scored Tszyu a point ahead every time at the time he retired. I think if his particular testiculars were left alone he would've finished the fight and on my card won (assuming he stayed upright).
Hatton's a dirty fighter, his whole style is to be dirty, was even before he decided to be mini-me Ruiz.

Don't know how you score fights but Hatton was definitely ahead when Tszyu retired and didn't Tszyu low blow Hatton first? :think
