Would a 2002 Wlad vs. 2002 Lennox lewis fight come down to who landed the 1st bomb?

Sanders was a one hit wonder, as was Ross Purrity.

I don't hug nuts, but for me to hug Bernard's nuts like widdow hugs WALDS I'd have to say some pretty outlandish **** like "Hopkins has great one punch KO power in both hands, is a relentless pressure fighter, etc".

The point here being, they never would have landed had it been Lennox Lewis. I think to say Lewis would have been knocked out just as Wladimir was if he ever faced Sanders is too be moronic.

Wladimir is often a parody of a Heavweight champion. He is seen grabbing opposition with dear life, falling over the floor against Brewster, Purrity, and Samuel Peter. He is not seen enforcing his size and strength on a fighter like thompson, who had to resort to taking a dive because Wladimir could not get the job done.

Even talking about the guy is annoying.

ya, youre right about Hopkins, i mean he landed like 400 shots on Pavlik, and couldnt even knock him down..That is deficient in power, considering how many people say Pav has a glass jaw..

"Wald" does have a mediocre chin, although travis walkers might be worse.

People act like Lewis and/or Wlad can't take a punch are honestly mentally challenged. You really don't understand the meaning of having a weak chin. Lewis fought 44 fights and was only stopped twice. He was the heavyweight Champion and fought at a high level of comp. Wladimir Klitschko has fought 55 fights, and has only been stopped 3 times. He is also the Heavyweight Champion of the World and has fought at a high level of comp. Champions who fight at that level, who are ruling their division DO NOT HAVE GLASS JAWS!

Have you ever noticed that both Wlad and Lewis beat the best fighters that they faced? It's not a coincidence that they both lost against fighters perceived to be easy wins. When you are as talented as those two are... it is VERY easy to become complacent and not be fully prepared for the task at hand. Sometimes it takes a big fight, or a perceived challenge in order to get them in gear. Once they are in against a top opponent, they shine and they win. Wlad admitted aftter his losses that it is easy to say that you aren't taking a fighter lightly, but it isn't always easy to prepare yourself and put the hard work in during your training camp in order to fully prepare for what everyone considers a walkover opponent. For Wlad it took his losses for him to realize that EVERYONE in the heavyweight division is a threat and no longer do you see him coming into the ring without a plan, unprepared, or just throwing wasteful punches and blowing his load. He comes into the ring against EVERY challenger as if they are the best fighter in the world.

As long as Lewis knew about the fight 2 weeks before it happened, Lewis would win by TKO in the first 5 rnds.

Both got stopped by lesser punchers than they'd be facing in their careers, so why not?

It might not be the first bomb, but should what ought to be a technical fight turn into a slugfest, someone's getting stopped in a hurry. As for everyone picking Lewis, it wouldn't matter that much because he was the favorite each time he got knocked out. Same with Wlad.

I see this fight being a lot like Lewis/Golota only longer. Lewis would land the right eventually and finished off Vlad inside 3.
