Would a mayweather win over martinez @ 160 b better than a win over pacquiao at 147?

Although i might have gotten a bit carried away saying similar things I do kinda agree. The whole 1 ATG thing though I don't know. Cause SRR accomplished basically the same things but in a harder era. He was probably equally talented. Was a much tougher dude. **** he beat up Lemata howmany times and Floyd had a probablem with Castillo? If he **** kicked Margo that would help. The problem with floyd is because of his style we will likely really never know just how hard, how tough, and how good he really is.

The lineal middleweight title is more impressive than beating Pac to me.

Pac is still a smaller guy, I have personally never clamoured for Pac May as May is a bit big and the wrong style for Pac.

Belts are a dime of dozen. It's a joke. Pacman is a certified ATG. One of the best ever.

WHo gives a **** about 100 years from now or the public. We are boxing fans that understand that styles make fights. Pacs resume won't be entertaining me when he's getting his ass handed to him. The guys in the ring will. And interms of challenging Floyd the martinez fight will do that more then the pacquiao fight.

Who the fu*k did Martinez beat to grab the lineal MW title? Kelly "Feet of Bricks" Pavlik. Big freaken deal. I'm supposed to be more impressed with that than beating a certified ATG in Pacman who is also a proven WW?

If the PBF/Pacman fight happens, it's going to be remembered pretty much forever. Even if the fight isn't that entertaining. Just the fact that it was the most anticipated fight in boxing history and pitted the two best fighters in the world IN THEIR PRIME, is a story in itself. But whoever wins this fight has an ATG win.

Pac's an ATG, Martinez, given his age, will never be. Pac is a greater victory by a country mile.

No because everyone will still be wondering about Pac. If he beats Pac then they want PW.

He should beat pac first as that will increase his fame among the general public. He'll have enough star power to carry an unknown fighter and rake in big numbers.
