I can't say yes. Floyd would find a way to win.

Cotto is always slower, always easier to hit, and always technically inferior... Prime Floyd was a lot more of a mover also, so Cotto would have to chase him, furthering my point

Prime Cotto had to punch Judah in the balls to keep from being dropped/stopped in 07/08 Mayweather probably beats him like Hatton

    of course cotto would win.

mayweather can only win in real life, not these fantasy matchups, where floyd is currently 0-201.

Look what an old over-the-hill Cotto did to Void, a young prime Cotto would have done more than bloody Void's nose..............

    okay i'll humor you...
a "young, prime cotto" wouldn't have been fighting at 154, a weight that Floyd never looked good at, and cotto is moving up from
since that means we'll be making the fight at 140 or 147, good luck!

Incumbent champions beaten by Cotto? Answers on a postcard please.

I'm a fan of Miguel but he is prob the most overrated fighter I've ever seen discussed on these boards.

Prime Floyd for me was when he fought Hatton in 2007 , this is in terms of size , confidence , speed and strength.

Cotto simply doesnt have the tools to beat Floyd at any stage of their careers.

No he would not, he was a bull back in the day, flat footed and bent like a spoon.
Mayweather would box circles around him.
I think that version of Cotto who fought was much more technical and wiser then Cotto before. Aside the facial swellings which begun in his Margarito fight.

    Cotto hadn't peaked in 2006.
It was cotto's management who didn't want the fight.
Cotto didn't have the professional experience that Floyd had in big fights so he was still a work in progress.
