Bhop in his physical prime was a predator. He loves to attack his opponent early and have a ruthless approach before he reinvent himself. Mainly bc he is old, but he have always carry his dirty tactics with him though. Bhop would have beaten Kelly very badly. KO in 9-12 is very likely.
That's pretty much the way I see it. Take away the elbow injury and the bronchitis, and KP gives BHop the fight of his life at 160.
Take your complaints to Thomas Hausser. He is the one who clearly documented the issues, and he documented them from inside Pavlik's locker room, and from actual medical records. Of course, judging from your post, I doubt if you even know who Hausser is.
first PAVLIK JUMPED 10 POIUNDS TO FIGHT HIM evryone acts like that means nothing, two: hopkins said it was the graetest performance of his career, so hopkins obviously felt it was as good as he could do... furthermore he never even floored or seriously hurt pavlik so what makes you think he could KO him It was so funny watching Joe Calzaghe dominate the last 10 rounds of the Joe-hopkins fight hahahaha
hopkins does him in between rounds 6-8. horrible style match up for kelly. hopkins had way too much footwork, handspeed, aggresiveness, feints, stamina and countering skills for pav. johnson didnt even make it to the bell against hops, and that mans chin is other worldly, as is his toughness. pav wont get a single clean hit on the guy, meanwhile hopkins will be teeing off.
this might be stupid but im surprised people arent saying that hop juiced up for the fight. lol for real i dont think he did.
Someone did start a thread on that after Mos/Mar. Backhanded accusation that Richardson had two 'aged' fighters that suddenly seemed to find the fountain of youth. Really, between Kelly's elbow injury and bronchitis, I don't think you need more than that.
