Would a prime Mike Tyson be as dominate as he was if he had boxed in the 1970`s?

Stopped reading after you said Bruno was feather fisted. Bruno was a lot of things (and I mean A LOT of things) but he packed serious dynamite in his hands and anybody with even an ounce of knowledge knows this.

Did Ali dislike Quarry for some reason? He was kind of giving him the Ernie Terrell treatment.

I was gonna make a joke about Tyson making Foreman see Jesus, but I forgot Jimmy Young did that already...

Yes. I was going to say 'when you say cry like a baby, would Tyson cry and say things like it was too humid, the ropes were too loose, my water was drugged, I lost too much weight, chalkdust, I want to see my mummy, there was chalkdust.' but I did say I wouldn't get back to ridiculous unsubstantiated hyperbole.

He would be good in first couple rounds as allways and then fold like he allways did even in McCall fight he was lucky to survive he hugged so much in final rounds!

He lost every time he stepped up except for McCall fight and Oliver wasn't nearly as skilled as K2 or haye! (BTW also a former drug addict)
overrated if anything.he was barely any good at all. His biggest archievement at his overrated status as a fighter apparently is based on giving hard fight for few rounds against guys in past, lol. His best win is o.mccall ffs..
What hurts bruno the most was that he really didn't have any signature wins.. He had a bunch of signature fights vs tyson, lennox, witherspoon,, but never a signature win besides outpointing mccall. That shows that his punching power is not special!

I never saw Ali wobbled Frazier!Ali only said words that hurts Frazier!I only see that Ali was wobbled in 1st and third fight in late rounds!
When Ali "hurt" Frazier,Joe countered him and there was the end of round!
They did not have any success landing on Joe not even early!Joe dodge every punch they threw!Mathis was knocked as Quarry was!Mathis used peek a boo also as Tyson and Quarry was fast!
Tucker did hurt twice Tyson actually in first and 3rd round!Referee saved him and Tyson started to hug just like he did against Bruno! Also Tucker broke his hand before fight and fought with only one hand and was also able to land punches early! It shows that Tyson take more punches early than Frazier!Tucker,Bruno,Tillis... and Douglas who started early!Tucker was able to handle and neutralized Tyson power very easy!

Dokes win who you always pull shows that Dokes was past his prime and finished after Holyfield prime! You always said how Ruddock knocked dokes like no one before but Riddick Bowe knocked him even easier in 1st round!
Dokes was well past his prime! He was fighter born in 50s and Ali sparing partner in late 70s!
His prime was between Young fight in 1979 and Holyfield fight in 1989!After that he was finished! He fought Weaver and that was his best performance in mid 80s!
And you said that Dokes was in prime for Ruddock fight and that he just started shows that you are moron and that you want to defend Tyson and his fighter Ruddock!
Bonecrusher Smith was also past his prime! He was even older than Dokes! He was 37 and way past his prime! He had few nice fights against no names after that but that is it!
His prime was between Bruno and Tyson fight!1984-1988!
In his prime he fought Waver,Bruno,Tyson,Ferguson,Frazier...but he as not more in his prime for Ruddock fight! After Ruddock he was beaten by ancient 50 years old Bugner in 1st round and by ancient Holmes!
Shavers was not durable fighter? How many times was Smith stopped and how many Shavers?Much more times than Shavers!Shavers was more durable and in his prime against Lyle shows that Lyle win was much better!
Buster Mathis was also durable and in his prime with peek a boo style was knocked by Lyle! Also better win than past prime Dokes!
George Johnson the iron chin of boxing with decent punching power was also better win than Dokes and Smith!Even Frazier and Liston struggled to knock him and Lyle did that easy!

Foreman comes to fight, that in its self could cause Tyson problems. You saw Evander stay right with Mike and he hurt Mike also. Foreman's punchers are heavier than Evander's.
Cus wanted no part of Foreman. Just like he didn't want Paterson in with Liston. Dealing with exceptional punchers can be very tricky even if the more skilled fighter thinks his talents can over ride the power
Frazier was a bob and weave guy, and like Dempsey and Tyson a bob and weave guy has to have a place to set up. One way to beat them is timing, throwing when they set up to come in. Reach allows one to get there before the set up. Also you lionize Tyson when comparing him to Frazier. Tyson had horrible reach and would have a heck of a time getting into Foreman...

A while before the fight was made Jerry told the press that all the major black Heavyweights were avoiding him, alleging that this was deliberate and a conspiracy. Ali blew his stack when he heard this and demanded that his manager, Herbert Muhammad get him the fight.
Tempers cooled after the fight. Ali seldom said a bad word in earnest about an opponent when the press and cameras weren't around and he was very fond of Quarry for risking his top contender status for his comeback fight in Atlanta.

Fantastic performance. They might have stopped that fight a bit late, really.

I think he would have beaten Ali in the 70s. Same with Foreman the best of Frazier and besides them no one else really stands a big chance.
Do I think he can do it multiple times, maybe, could he lose to them of course. Dominating that cast would require a very adaptive versatile fighter and I think for a short span Tyson could be that fighter before his demons catch up enough for him to start taking undeserved Williams type Ls.

Based on what Frazier? Norton? How about on the Ron Lyle fight where he was almost stopped by a weaker punching, less skilled and durable fighter who dragged George into his own wheel house screaming.

its obvious these people trolls and just followers repeating the same dumb quotes mike was way better defensively to be hit by George often it's obvious mike would win

to these crazy trolls they so crazy thinking that joe and mike fought the exact same way wasnt similar at all the match would be nothing like joe easy to see this if people watch mike or watch the 80s mike
mike fought like Dempsey and Patterson

where does fighting like joe come from
not watching matches repeating dumb quotes other people who are followers who dont watch matches seems like is where it comes from

mike never got hit or beat by a slow puncher coincidence no

why would anybody even say George would win strange he was slow and no defense anybody who says that is trolling or crazy

This was excellently done & really entertaining.
The irony of the results when guys he fought were differently aged, little touches like 93 seconds, very plausible scenarios & outcomes overall-arguably masterful!

    Not a loudmouth at all.
