Impossible to call, the fights could have gone either way.

I would say BHOP vs Calzaghe would have gone either way, but Jones certainly beats him.
    Specially at 168.

RJJ beats both in his prime. Prime Hopkins beats prime Calzaghe and current Hopkins also beats Calzahge in a rematch.

No-one is afraid of Calzaghe. He hits with all the force of a gentle breeze.

I'm gonna buck the trend and say a younger, fitter and more aggresive Hopkins beats Joe, but RJJ could go either way.

Much of Roys magic came from reading and reacting faster than his opponents, not just his outright handspeed. Many of these moments would come from a slight break in the fighting when the fighters gather themselves for a second. Roy would read the situation faster and pull some spectaculer move. JC would take most of those moments away, as, although he doesn't think as fast as ROy, he doesn't stop throwing as he thinks. He just continues winging in punches which may not be effective in hurting his opponent, or even landing at all but it does smother them and cut out a lot of their judgment time which I think would effect Jones a lot more than Hopkins.

i think prime hopkins beats joe easier than jones would. I think joes pressure would give roy hell and take away his room and it would affect his timing. I'll also hasten to add i think joe is a much smarter fighter than jones who relied more on his natural abilities. I think hopkins joe would always be scrappy but i think hopkins is a little more composed than jones at dealing with the pressure a guy like joe would bring. I mean a 43 year old hopkins beat him IMO with a low work rate take it back to 2001 in his absolute prime...the fight wouldnt even be close

LOL,....Lacy wouldnt have lasted 12 against Jones or Hopkins....

The fact that you are using that fight to judge how good JOE is shows you the calibre of fighter hes been fighting...lol

Hopkins would do a better job than Jones imo. Roy has never been comfortable fighting Southpaw's, and i believe Calzaghe style is tailor made for Hopkins style more so than Jones's. That said, they both beat him imo.

Hopkins is always gonna give Calzaghe trouble, because he punches straighter. Calzaghe punches around the houses, that is why he got dropped against Mitchell, and Hopkins. Hopkins in his prime exploits his lack of defence to the fullest.

Hopkins is probably one of the best rhythm breakers in the game EVER!!

P4P I think RJJ KO's Joe at 168, Jones had superhuman power at that weight. P4P at 175 I think RJJ by SD or very close UD.

Nobody touches Jones Jr. at 168 ever. There are a few that take him at 175 when we talk about primes, Calzaghe is ceratinly not one of them. Jones KO 5.

B-HOP is one of the greatest Middleweights of all-time. His prime was at 160. So if we took B-HOP's skills and just moved him up eight pounds, he would beat Joe by Wide UD.
