Maybe but it seems that everyone Wlad beats is automatically considered a bum. The detractors will go on a "told you so" rampage and the Haye fans will go silent.

If Wlad wins, he can't expect to get al lot of credit. That is quite normal because only Haye only has Mormeck as a bigger name in his resume.

But maybe that will change in the future depending on how Haye's career develops.

ok changing my initial question - what would it say about vlad if he was ko'd by david haye. would it put a big question mark next to vlads entire career?

i never said Haye's resume was better then Wlads, first off....mainly because they're not even comparable, seeing as Haye's only been a pro for about half a decade while Wlads been fighting for well over a decade, and when you look at it like that, his opposition has been very impressive

and uhhh....Haye's never beaten any1 at HW? maybe but, who is at HW? the division is garbage....does beating 11bums make him any more better? or anymore proven? this division's horrible, you should think Haye for even brightening it up for atleast a moment

so yeah, like i said, Haye would be his best win in my book, maybe 2nd

The division is very weak but you can't and even if this is quite common here on the ESB Forum refer to every fighter as a bum. If that logic applies, I could easily say that Mormeck is a bum.

There are objective criterias:Haye has never fought a TOP 10 contender at heavyweight. He has skills but he has not beaten anyone yet.

Wlad has fought fighters with much better resume at heavyweight. So, right now it is very clear that Haye does not belong to Wlad's best opponents. Maybe that will change in the future depending on how Haye's career develops.

my bad, you're right....Bum's a little harsh, how about C-class fighter? or domestic level fighter?

and yes, Haye did beat a top 10 contender, seeing as Barrett was ranked #6 by the WBC.....that just proves how horrible the division is, theres no one there, and yeah, CW wasn't exactly a glamor division either but, most people would rate Mormeck alot higher then a Tony Thompson, or Sultan Ibragimov

but uhh....since you refuse to beleive that Haye is not one of if not THE best fighter Wlad has ever faced, why dont you tell me the top 5 in order

I certainly think Haye has the best resume of anyone Wlad has fought.

That makes him Wlads best win for me.

If Haye loses and goes back down to Cruiser and dominates, he will still look good after all this. If he stays at Heavyweight he has nowhere else to go.

TOP Ten contender by the Ring and not by those corrupt organisations. Barett was cearly a bum.

Fact is that based on his accomplishments at heavyweight, you can't claim that Haye would be Wlad's best win. This is based on accomplishments and Haye has not proved anything at heavyweight.

I already stated that HAye is good boxer but how much I view Haye of a threat for Wlad is irrelvant in this context.

is that right? well i also suppose if Hatton beats Pac it wont be one of his best wins, or if JMM beats Guzman, it wont be one of his best wins, or if Agbeko beats Vic it wont be one of his best wins, or if Hasegawa beats Montiel that wont be one of his best wins?, what about Chris John over Caballero? or Luevano or Juanma? Pavlik over Dzinziruk? Clottey over Holt?

you startin to get how silly that sounds yet?, but like i said...if you disagree, show me Wlad's top 5 opponents, i say that'll settle everything

c'mon now...based off of accomplishments?, be real what have these Heavies accomplished? what does beating these guys prove? if these guys were really anything decent, dont you think this board would have alot more interest in the HW's outside of Haye vs. The Klits? or better yet, the boxing world?

Even if Kostya were to win (which I don't think he would) it sure as **** wuldnt be by ****, both would cause the other all sorts of troubles, but uhhh...., for the record I said "one of the best best" not "the best"
