Would AJ have been exposed had he fought Wilder in 2017?

Styles make fights. AJ had a better resume than Dubois and that didn't count for much in the ring.

Sadly we will never know how it would have panned out but there was a reason Hearn never wanted Wilder and it had nothing to do with money. It was a roll of the dice best avoided.

AJ has a better resume overall but if you compare the last 3 years, Dubois has fought and beat better opposition.

Dubois is an uncomfortable, come forward fighter when he has to, as seen recently. Wilder had none of those qualities, and with lenient referee I'm not sure he gets past Miller, who is a metaphorically roided version of Duhaupas with more veteran tactics when allowed.

Joshua would likely find it far easier to counter Wilder, though that lopping overhand right Joshua failed to defend from definitely gives Wilder's proponents a lot of ammunition.

Wilder would do AJ like what he did to Fury. Only difference is AJ would not be able to get back up like Fury did multiple times.

Here we go. Now Joshua will be soooooo bad in people minds...

Fight go terrible bad for him. He always when being catch must long time recovery to start boxing again.
He still looked better with understand that and defence, clonching game this time.
He even come back to fight and start looking better. He show heart in hard situation.

But when You fight on instinct like that You Turm off tactic. He wobbled Dubois and forget his lesson from Ruiz 1 fight. Go for KO and being KO...

Gratz Daniel. For me biggest surprice is fact that Joshua was little slower than him. Even finish action- he throw uppercat but was this 0,5 seconds slower.

Dubois got just more solid chin.

Wilder vs AJ? Come on. Joshua is much better and for sure got strenght to KO Wilder.

But this alwyas loooks like that. People will be saying how many boxer beat weak Joshua. They forget that their number 1 Fury got massive problem with MMA fighter with 0 boxing match.
    Style make fight.
I guess Dubois was wrong for Anthony but dont see him optimistc vs Zhang, Bakole or Usyk and Fury.
But we will see how his career goes further.

For sure his change is one of better comeback on boxing history. No idea how they build him like that after his previous problems.

I honestly believe Hearn never fancied the Chisora fight for Joshua also,Joshua being the only name missing from Chisoras resume which is literally the who’s who of this Heavyweight Boxing era .

We will never know. That's the risk you run when you are actively mitigating risk through your career. His prime is now well and truly in the back mirror and somehow he managed to not fight Wilder or Fury, his two biggest contemporaries.

Eddie Hearns will still be rattling off the murderers row of Takam, Parker, Whyte, Breazeale, Martin, Johnson and Molina 30 years from now.

Doubt it, AJ was always better and was a quicker starter in 2017.

Probably, but he's ripe for the one hitter quitter. If they finally make it, I'll buy it for 20 bucks.

Wilder 2017-2019 may have been limited but he actually had some speed then and was very good at doing his one skill very well. Landing that devastating right hand.

Wilder would have knocked him out.

Now he is shot to pieces and can't even do that. Just looks like a frail old man in there and his right hand has deserted him.

Wilder has always been a tomato can crusher. I stick to my theory that AJ lands first and knocks him out cold. AJ was clearly better but if Wilder lands obviously Joshua is sleeping.

AJ will have his moments but Wilder will always be looking to land his right hand

Not sure what you mean by exposed but I always favored Wilder in that fight. I think in 2017/2018 he clips Joshua because of Joshua's lack of head movement.
