Price is British level, nothing he has ever done has suggested otherwise. He also has one of the worst chins in the sport.

Just watched some of eric molina. He d actually be a half decent opponent considering how late in the day it is. Unlike martin and breazele he actually has an offence to speak of. Had both wilder and arreola hurt. Cant help but think joshua will bully him cause he doesnt look to have the strength to be able to hang with him plus i d be surprised if hes the same again after wilder bearing in mind he took a fair few big shots off him.

I d rather he had a go than price tho who,s just gonna paw that jab out till josh attacks him and most probably knocks him out.

Molina looks like he could go early too tbf but unlike martin and breazele he has half decent power. Could make it interesting. He lands clean i reckon he ll cause joshua problems. Should still be straight forward for joshua but at least the dangers there to an extent. Unlike the last two.

Agreed, Molina will actually punch back and I expect this to be the most competitive fight AJ has had, similar to the Whyte fight.

Molina had Wilder rocked and accepted getting hit in order to land his own punches. I have a feeling he will surprise Joshua who will probably taking it for granted, but will ultimately fall short towards the later rounds.

Decent fight for AJ until the big showdowns next year vs Wlad, Haye, Fury etc...

You make some very good points. He is definately nowhere near ready yet and like you, this is what disappoints me. Price should, as you say fight regularly and build up to that level but he seems like he doesn't have the belief he can do it despite saying he will ko Joshua. I know he will get life changing money for an AJ fight but I just thought he'd have some ambition and self belief left if he truly believes the only reason he lost was because of the drug cheats.
Really like Price and will always support one of my own but I just wish he'd try and show people what he has left and see where it takes him. Either way if he fights Joshua I'll be first watching it hoping for a massive shock. I don't pay for them anyway but I can see why people would be majorly pissed off if it was PPV.

If fat drummer boy Molina took out Joshua it would be comical.

Saying that i d be supporting price as well tbh. Although i critisise the guy...its more out of frustration than any dislike for him.

Must be hard at one point everyone wanted a part of him. He wasnt actually far off joshuas adulation prior to thompson. As soon as people realised he wasnt gonna be the man...they just move on. Shows how fickle people can be. But it should be all the motivation price needs to have another serious go at it.

I think hes probably realised himself hes not gonna be good enough as much as he tries. So just going for the life changing money. You can kind of understand it.

The thing is tho outside joshua, fury and haye. Theres no one for him to really fear in britain if he gets on a run of form improving as he goes. Should be aiming for 4 or 5 quick fights looking at someone like whyte as his big test. Win that then see where he can go from there. Hayes aging. Furys gone and joshua fight he can take with nothing to lose at that point.

I cant stand the politics in boxing nowadays. For me its go out and earn your stripes or retire and find something else to do. Thats how i d do it personally tbf. Dont bother giving me a million to get bowled over in a round v joshua till i ve at least earnt it.
