Would Ali have done a better or worse job against Fury than Usyk?

That post was only about Ali vs Young not sure why you mentioned Fury vs Ali there.

If you disagree that's fine. I was saying how I saw it.

The thread is asking how Ali would do vs Fury and yet an example of an out of shape Ali who was past his prime vs Young who also has little to no relevance to Fury in regards to styles is being used an argument to discredit Ali's chances vs Fury.

And you're also saying Ali wasn't in that bad of shape when he was at his career highest weight.

    That's why.

I was responding to another comment about Young from another poster I didn't use it as proof Fury would beat Ali or how Fury would fair against Ali you assumed that.

Someone mentioned about Ali struggling on the front foot.

You then replied you had Young vs Ali a draw and then commented you didn't think Ali wasn't in bad shape.

How would one not assume that ? The only thing is you're flat out wrong about Ali's shape he was in terrible shape as proven by me being at his career highest recorded weight.

I was just focusing on Ali Young there because I watched the fight recently. I did make a brief comment on Ali vs Fury earlier but that response in particular wasn't directed at the hypothetical matchup and how it would look.

Perhaps we are defining terrible shape differently I meant it the sense Ali still looked formidable I didn't mean it in the sense it was a Prime Ali.

All this cobblers about Fury being the second coming has been shot to pieces by a well past his prime Usyk. When Fury fights legit opposition, he's shown to be easy to hit and hurt and can be comfortably outscored over the distance. He has a host of good rather than great wins.

Ali beat a prime Frazier twice post exile and KO'ed two of the most feared fighters in HW boxing history in Liston and Foreman. The very best Ali is quicker, tougher, smarter, more accurate and has a ridiculous gas tank as proved in the Thrilla in Manila where the ringside temp was about 110-120 deg. and the work rate of Ali and Frazier was off the f**king charts! Usyk is a far more difficult match up for Ali than Fury IMHO.

I agree Uysk would be a tougher matchup for Ali than Fury and I think both Kiltschko's would be as well.
