 Of course not. Not even close

He wouldn't even have made it to the Olympic final without them

Check out this amazing display of defensive skill

Incredible how anyone could watch this and even contemplate trying to defend such disgraceful cowardly tactics. But defend them they will even though deep down they know they're absolutely disgraceful

His poor opponent just wants to fight and score points but Dre does everything in his power to ensure that doesn't happen

And what he did to Kessler was absolutely criminal

It's not just the fact that he's filthy dirty with a capital F and D that makes it worse. It's that he pretends to be holier than thou and whined like a female dog when he got a little taste of his own medicine and categorically refused to travel, arrogantly expecting everyone else to play by a set of rules he never would've dared play by himself.

What kind of ''devout Christian'' refuses to allow even one neutral judge for a rematch after their three home judges stole all his opponent's belts off of them?

''I'm glad that I can win ugly sometimes (ROFL), because at the end of the day it's just about winning, right?

''I'm just saying, man, every cut I got is a headbutt or an elbow. Every single one.

''But that's why there's a third man in the ring (ROFL)''

''All these are either blatant headbutts or elbows, literally blatant. Not one of these was from a punch''

"We expected this kind of fight with Bika," Ward said. "Every laceration I have was literally [from] a headbutt or an elbow. I clearly remember each one of them. That's what you get when you fight a guy like Sakio."

---Andre Ward after the Bika fight

''At the end of the day, boxing is already a tough enough business to not have to put up with illegal blows.

''I don't mind the occasional foul if it's an accident but the intentional stuff I just can't put up with it''

    --Andre Ward

I'm not going through this again with you dum basses. There's not a case let alone an easy case for 6 rounds for Ward. Try and understand the concept of clean punching

Everyone here understands the concept of clean punching. There is a case for 6 rounds for ward. You've said nothing to prove the contrary. Wouldn't even be surprised if youve never watched the fight

Very dirty fighter. Would not have been as successful had he not been dirty, and fought in his hometown under favorable judging and refereeing.

Since you did your research, how many fights did Ward's illegal tactics prevented him from losing? Who would Ward have lost to?

As already stated, only the Kovalev decision would change. Still a great career.

He would have lost a few, maybe been KO'd too. The clinching at Ward's level is illegal defensive protection, and he smothered a lot of work by Froch, Kessler and Kovalev, all who had the power to KO him.

It was so obvious even in the Froch fight, where everyone thinks Froch was ''schooled''. Schooled in what sport? Ward kept jumping in with shots then clinching and grappling to smother Froch's inside punching. Reset, repeat etc. Froch was actually trying to box/punch against this ''slick talented'' boxer, but ended up in partial grappling match.

Here's a question for all the Ward lovers. If Ward was so amazingly talented and skilled, why did he need to use these grappling tactics? Particularly against guys like Froch, who was apparently not the most skilled? He should have been able to put on an ''exhibition'' of pure boxing and defeated everyone. The reality is that he didn't have the skills to do that. Even a guy like Canelo, who is a rampant cheater, fights in a clean style once he's in there. Think about that.
