Just stop. Lewis was sparked out cold x 2 by a crack addict and a glass-jawed builder. That actually happened twice. And he was knocked out and dropped multiple times in the amateurs. He could see the few shots Tua and Tyson landed coming because they were so much smaller than him

Again, Dubois was badly injured in both those fights

If you think Lewis with that chin of his was standing up to half the bombs AJ did tonight you're living in a dream world. Just like Lewis was when he got sparked out cold twice

Comparing Lewis to aj is too far fetched he wouldn't need to take them flush, he likely smokes Dubois before something like that occurs, but he's taken plenty of shots from massive puncher without getting knocked out. That's the point. Lewis was doing a movie and partying before Rahman, you won't bring this up, but you'll bring up Dubois being younger and Lewis's amateur fights it makes no sense

Because Dubois lost to slow as molasses Joyce and took a knee then got dropped 3 times by an unranked cruiserweigh unlike Lewis who beat everyone he faced your argument just doesn't mean much especially if you genuinely believe Dubois has a significant chance at beating Lewis. He does has a punchers chance though

He withstood plenty of bombs from Vitali & came back to win in the final fight of his career.

It's a moot point anyway, b/c Dubois' power would be a non-factor as Lewis finishes the job that Lerena started.

You keep ignoring the fact that Dubois was badly injured in both of those fights

A 214lb Mavrovic gave Lewis hell despite the fact he was already suffering from a life-threatening illness

    Ray Mercer beat Lewis

Lewis' chin is just not taking many flush bombs from a 250lb Dubois. You can try and convince yourself otherwise but we know he was very susceptible to getting one shot slept something which has never happened to Dubois

    Vitali was an arm puncher

It's all a freaking moot point because these are fantasy match ups which can never materialize. Hence why we have a Classic forum for these kind of debates where posters get to play this silly little game of ''I'm right'' but it can never be proven

If he gets injured from fighters like Joyce & Lerena hitting him, WTF do you think is gonna happen when he tastes Lewis power?

You mean like how he took bomb after bomb from Hrgovic and stood up to AJ's vaunted right hand tonight?

If Lewis is getting one punch slept by McCall and Rahman Dubois sends him to the shadow realm

I think he would have had a more up and down career. I don't see him ever being dominant in that era. I don't think Fury would have either. For sure not Wilder. Usyk is a different story, just a whole different level. He would have been elite in that era.

Mercer lost, and Dubois can't fight on the inside like Mercer. He either clinches or wings away with 1 hand. His best work at at mid range

Mavrovic was undefeated and never dropped Lewis let alone 3 times. Mavrovic also got sick afterwards iirc, not before. Dubois has been hurt and dropped plenty, stiff, robotic and stopped twice, doesn't matter if he wasn't 1 punch KO'd.

Better chin ≠ Better fighter. Is this something you're struggling to get ?

    Mercer was robbed

Mavrovic was undefeated against janitors, hadn't fought any legit punchers, and he weighed 214lbs because he was already suffering from a life threatening disease

Lewis breathed a huge sigh of relief when he was announced the winner against Mavrovic. He was blowing out of his ass against an ill CW

What part about you rose-tinted boxing goggle boxing nostaligists not being able to prove anything you're saying is so difficult to understand? At least I know it's all mere conjecture and I know which forum is which

I'm not going to lie Serge i think Lewis would beat the breaks off Dubois and Joshua, but that first right hand that dropped Joshua would've had Lewis down and out.

    That's fair enough

I can't overstate how much I hate these fantasy debates and how silly I think they are

What life threatening disease going into the Lewis fight ? His life was threatened so much but he had been boxing for well over a decade. I don't think he was significantly ill until he was forced to retire during training years after because of it so it's really pointless to bring up especially when he was undefeated, even if they were crap opponents.

Yeah it is pure guesswork and based on everything shown and their actual accomplishments/ability in the ring, Lewis would put a hilarious beating on him and aj. We can agree to disagree
