I wholeheartedly disagree. You may think Barry was overrated but I think you're doing him a massive disservice to say those three would have all beaten him.

We all know he is Irish to the core obviously, but Strictly speaking politically at any rate Frampton is from the UK too......he'd be tough for naz also.

Come on Len, I admire your nationalism (my parents are Irish) but Naz would stop Frampton.

He's British and you know it.

If you had any decent boxers in the South you'd be latching on to them rather than trying to claim Carl.

At the moment Frampton hasn't done anything to suggest he could beat Naz IMO. If he beats LSC and beats him well then we can talk. Beating Scott 'I've got absolutely no game plan' Quigg doesn't cut it at the minute.

Peter Eubank, Steve Cruz and Jim McDonnell were hardly hall-of-famers.
Tom Johnson was world champion for 4 years with ten successful defences before Naz knocked him out.

I see what you mean but I thought we were judging each fighter on them at their very best.

I think it's pretty harsh to use McDonnell against Barry too if you look at the context of that fight I don't think it means a great deal. Anyway, I would pick the best Cyclone to beat the best Boom Boom.

Oh please, Naz wasn't all that even in 96/97, he had a war with Medina, dropped by Alicea and given hell by a past his best Kevin Kelley, all fighters Barrera would have schooled.
Yeah Barrera lost to Jones twice but styles make fights, JJ had the perfect style to beat Barrera.
