Oh **** I misread ... ummm ..its irrelavent really ... most people fight a trilogy when they split fights ... they were good fights but pac has out grown marquez ... it does nothing for pac if he wins considering he knocked him down 4 times a couple weight classes ago ... pac has shown more power now than ever ... I wouldn't rule out a knock out for pac ... I think this is one of those times when one rival became to big physically for the other

I think PAc beats him easily; I just want them to fight simply because JMM deserves it. I dont want them to fight because if pac beats him it takes away the history and drama of their first two fights. But i feel like JMM should be given that opportunity because of their controversy. I voted no. It sucks for manny cause it puts him in a no win situation unless the fight is an all out war

 

Nope. This should of been done at 130lbs. Neither with the exception of JMM would be willing to fight at that weight. It wouldn't be as competitive as the first 2. Pacquiao has evolved while JMM has a hard time adapting. His age and style should be for the 130lbs division, yet he is fighting at 135, that's already pushing it.

 

Of course Pac would get credit for beating JMM. He'd get credit just for giving Juan a chance. As much as anyone thinks JMM has declined, he still looked pretty good against Juan Diaz. Now if JMM had suffered a devastating KO, obviously a 3rd fight with Pac wouldn't sound very interesting. At worst Pac should be fighting Berto. Either Pwill or Bradley deserves a shot the most. Margarito's size over Pac is irrelevant when they are planning to weight drain Marg. Hell, if that's Pac's secret to his success why not weight drain the hell out a Klitschko and become heavyweight champ?

And if they fight again --- they should weigh the same.
Pac does not want that fight.

 

I think he still deserves credit, but again it will downplayed due to Marquez's age. The weight will be a big issue too. I think Pac can still make 135 if he really tried but that would be 12-15 pounds south of his current fighting weight so he wouldn't be at his best. And I agree that Marquez has no business fighting above 135. So either way, we wouldn't get both fighters fighting at their best weight.

 

He would get as much credit as he did for Pac/Morales III.

I've give him some credit if he blew JMM out of the waters at 140 lbs. Say what you will, but JMM did pretty much fight Pacman to a draw in 2 fights. It would just be one less question for the Pacman haters. But obviously, there are much better fights to be made for Pacman.
