Would Anyone Buy Diancou vs. Dawson?

I know RealIzm and Thunder would. I'd rather see Dawson face the other fighters you just mention.

 

I'd like to watch him get exposed, it would complete the trio.

 

You can only hope Dawson will get "exposed" by the limited fighter that is Diaconu.

Stop bashing Dawson just cause somebody hurt your feelings by claiming he would beat Calzaghe. I mean ffs take it easy.

 

isn't Dawson on Showtime? anyway financial Diaconu is not in the league of a fight with the aforementioned 3 but he should get his shot.

And I'm sure if they wanted they could make the fight happen but I don't think Dawson wants it.

 

Come on, if I got upset over every fighter that was meant to beat Calzaghe by some peoples eyes, I'd be the hulk in a constant state of enragement.

I just look forward to Dawson being beaten again.

 

He wasn't 'offered' to fight in Romania. The fight was a mandatory title defense which went to purse bids. Diaconu's people won the purse bid, hence could stage the fight where they wanted.

Equally, if Dawson's backers had been willing to stump up the money and had won the purse bid, they could have staged it wherever they wanted.

 

I would think it should make a HBO card but not for anyone to pay more than their monthly rate and if it happens in Cali or Vegas I'll be looking for some decent priced tickets.

And yes, I believe the "Dawson gets beaten by someone, so I will call him an exposed hype job and claim Joe didn't have to face that bum" scenario would fit you pretty well. Or is that something you would never say if Dawson got beat...?

 

When Johnson beat him, I didn't say any of those things, as he gave a decent account of himself as a slightly above average fighter, losing to an older decent fighter.

If however he suffers what Pavlik did, he would warrant those terms.

You're biased as hell mate and it shows big time. If you want people to take you seriously in here you'd better give credit to fighters that deserve it, APART FROM CALZAGHE.

Yes,me personnally I would pay to see it cuz I'ma big Diaconu fan but this would almost never go PPV,besides the fight wouldn't go on HBO either,Showtime tops.It would be an interesting clash of styles and a good fight.And most likely Dawson was offered the fight in Canada aswell besides Romania

 

75% Of people scored Johnson winning that fight... Calzaghe won by at least 8 maybe 9 rounds, unfair comparrison.

Johnson also asked for a rematch on the spot, and Dawson fled the scene, probably in disbelief at his successful robbery.

 

Who's 75% of people? How did Calzaghe win 9 rounds? So with your logic Calzaghe not giving Hopkins a rematch means "he fled the scene"? Can you even back up the **** you're claiming?

I doubt Diancou could cope with his speed and skill... but his power makes him a live underdog vs Dawson who's chin might be a little suspect.
