Would ANYONE ELSE favor GGG to KO Tommy Hearns (shaky chin) at 160?

Dont get me wrong Hearns is an ATG BUT thats at 147

I think at 160 GGG COULD do what Hagler did to Hearns

more reach, speed and 1ko power from hearns and better boxing ability.
if GGG shows decent defensive head movement in the future you could favour him, but he did get hit quite a bit by proska.

Hearns was an ATG, but he was no ATG at middleweight. At 154 is a different story where he had an ideal mix of power, range, skills, and there weren't the same level of punchers to face.

I could see Hearns outboxing him for the majority of the fight, but completely losing on the cards or getting KO'd once he gets rocked by something solid. I think people overrate the ATG's.

Definitely, ggg hits harder than hagler. Hagler was a good puncher but was never feared as the puncher. But opposite can be asked, hearns can ko ggg.

if Hearns could keep his cool and box at range keeping GGG on the outside, i'd pick Hearns to bust him up and stop him around the mid rounds.

however, if he went about it like he did with Hagler, GGG would get him out of there in pretty much the same time it took Hagler to.

so it all comes down to how Hearns fights.

so it's fair to say 50/50.
