Would ANYONE ELSE favor GGG to KO Tommy Hearns (shaky chin) at 160?

Yes and GGG could be out there inside 3 minutes.

 

Ok this is crazy.

Hearns is an ATG and was up along side Hagler, Leonard, Duran...he is a master of the sport and has an accomplished career and some historic fights.

GGG has all the possibility in the world, but at this stage he hasn't done **** as a pro. His record and punching power is making all the fan boys excited but he would have to really get some big name fights and fight at the top level for a few more years before you can compare him to Hearns....one of the best offensive boxers ever, crazy good skills all round.

That being said there isn't too much to fault him at this stage of his career, but you see plenty of good KO punchers lose their amazing record when they start fighting top fighters.

Until Golovkin starts kicking some ELITE ass . Then we can talk...

Until then its going to always be Hearns by MASSACRE .

 

I also picked Hearns by massacre over Barkley and Kinchen for the very same reason. :happy:happy

 

Premature to talk about something like this. GGG hasn't had those types of fights...yet.

 

Tommy Hearns doesn't have an Amir Khan esque chin by no means and we still have to see how Golovkin does against elite. So far, I see Hearns closing Golovkins left eye with repetitive jabs and than starts launching those right hands, possibly stopping Golovkin, if he doesn't get stopped himself.

 

So what happens if Hearns lands one of those monster right hands at any time during the fight,apart from the fact GGG would probably be eating the Hearns jab all night.
GGG has never remotely fought anyone like Hearns.
