Would anyone rather have seen Toney in there instead of Sosonowski?

Was just thinking about how irrelevant everyone says JT is. But he would put up a better fight than most of these heavyweights. Anyway, what do you guys think>

Not as a viable contender but as another meat shield (haha bad joke, I know :D ), so people would finally acknowledge he "WAS" a great fighter (in lower divisions) but not anymore and should hang 'em!! He did enough for the sports and should not endanger his health doing this no more, let alone engaging into MMA...

    Not me.
Toney was beaten by S Peter along time back now, and we know what VK did with him. I know styles make fights and it could all turn out different but im not convinced anymore about Toney as a HW after all the PEDs talk came out

Yeah!! **** yeah, I would have loved to have seen that. I had no interest in Sonsonosoowonoksi before this fight. He was brave, and i'll probably track down his next fight no, but I would have been much more stoked for Toney.

Even though I saw the joke of a fight Toney was last in, he'd still be a very interesting opponent for Vitali, as both are defensively oriented guys that let their hands go. Although the method they go about it is so completely different.

No. Toney is completely shot and was outclassed by Peter years ago. He has no business fighting a top fighter these days. Sosnowski wasn't worthy either but he put up a better fight than Toney would, who has been living off his reputation for years. The only thing he's done to make the fight interesting, is constantly call them "sisters", which is hilarious on every level.

Toney is the Zab Judah of heavyweights - No matter how shot or **** he is, there will always be fans who think they are relevant and could beat an elite fighter.

I just don't want Toney to end up with more brain damage than he has at this point. He's had a long, hard career.

Toney should get in a good win before getting a title shot.

After that MMA-guy kicks his ass, he's probably going for a lay-off of 2 years again before fighting the likes of Otis Tisdale or Rob Calloway and having a lay-off again for almost a year (even though he promised to fight 3 more fights this year again!!)
