time will tell, on one hand he could go onto get knocked out in his first defence, on the other he could proceed to knockout both klitscko's. you can only measure these things when a career is over.

now im not saying it will happen in this case, but plenty of journeymen have become champions. just gotta wait for the dust to settle when all is said and done.

however if he did win, it is almost a certainty he would be an underdog in his first defence.

hmmm...easy answer is yes. i'm not a fan at all of carnera and though many on the classic see some merit in him, I think he and audley would be neck and neck. Leon Spinks wouldn't be much higher. actually in terms of titlests though Bruce Seldon, Michael Bentt and Valuev I would put on the same level or lower than audley

no, i think sam peter was the worst. he was a disgrace to the heavyweight title, how he just quit against klitschko for no good reason.

yes, his corner stopped it, but he quit, peter was shaking his head while his corner was giving him advice. his cornerman said " hold it, what you say". peter said "stop it".
    he quit.

Michael Bentt won a heavyweight strap from Tommy Morrison with an 10-1 record, so nah but he would be near the bottom though.

There's a few paper champions who are as bad. Thinking of legit champions, I think Willard was worse. Carnera was too.

willard and carnera took terrible beatings from dempsey and louis.
sam peter just quit, that's why he's worse in my book.

this is the problem comparing present fighters with past fighters, the past have finished their careers, all is known about them. we have no knowledge of how audleys next fight would pan out, we can guess he will lose, but it aint a definite.

Preach on, brother Tackleberry! Preach on! This dude didn't know what he was talking about. I think we can surmise that he was influenced by reptilian conspirators of American or the UK.
