Well, the one thing Jones always had over him was being the first MW in a century to become a HW champion. Even at 44 (something B-Hop doesn't even seem to notice he is), could he do something that big. Find a fight with Valuev or one of the Klitschkos and win? I honestly would give him a chance, particularly against someone as crude as Valuev.

I've often wondered - I think not now. To old to step up, it's to much muscle to put on without losing significant speed.

I think he could do it against a smaller heavyweight....but I think monsters like the Klitchko brothers and Valuev are a little out of the question IMO. I think he could've beaten Ruiz as Jones did.

He could have beat that Sultan guy but sultan said no, the other heavies are too big and bhop is too old. Would be too dangerous.

I wondered about that. If he could go into a fight still in shape, he's got the defense, chin and skills to be able to survive and make a fight of it. Problems may be lack of height. I mean while a tall MW, 6'1 at HW isn't going to be a lot. His handspeed is still very good thought which is another plus going for him.

I think B-Hop is great. (Had to state that clearly first)

Consider the great shape he stays in between fights and his normal fighting weight range.

Bernard would have to gain 30+ lbs to make the trip to HW. That would be rather difficult, at his age or otherwise. Take into account his body type (which realistically is towards the "hard gainer" category) and frame. He's not a James Toney type that's always battling the bulge.

It would be difficult to imagine B-Hop growing beyond cruiser weight.

A 44 Year, 6' 1" 205lb heavyweight (even as great as B-Hop) should only fight against Evander Holyfield or James Toney. I would not want to see a Valuev vs. B-Hop sideshow and frankly the Klitschko's are just too large.

A natural and talented 240lb champion vs. a 44 Year Old blown up ATG is not something I need to see. (fine, I'd watch it out of curiosity!) I B-Hope it doesn't ever happen outside of the WWE.

Yea he defiitely could of beat Ruiz, Iggy, or Maskaev as he once talked about. But hes too old, and it would be hard for him to put on that kind of solid muscle in a reasonable amount of time without illeagal substances. I dont see him beating either of the Klits right now. I don't know about valuev, but i dont want to see that anyways.

    Come on, that's ridiculous!! :p

B-Hop vs. Green Lantern (where the power ring is almost empty and B-Hop has Yellow Trunks and Gloves!!!)

Or Wlad vs. Superman (but Wlad has small shards of Kryptonite in his gloves, and there are Red Sun simulating lights overhead!!!!)

There's my next forum Thread!! :yep

    doubt it
b hop is naturally fairly thin
I think if he tried to box at HW, he would look his age
