No. Dawson is too athletic and quick. I'm done underestimating Hopkins for real, but this is actually a fight that doesn't favor him at all stylistically. Joe, Roy, and even Jermain all had the same advantage over Bernard....speed.

Hard to say, but I doubt Dawson gets beat as bad as Pavlik did. Would be a close fight imo.

no pavlik was a low skillset hype job....Dawson's a legit champion, say what you want about the opposition he's faced but......he's skills speak for itself, he's a complete fighter

it would be a close fight but Dawson would win a clear UD....

As if you didn't know Pavlik's flaws before the Hopkins fight.

He is the MIDDLEWEIGHT champion. He was beaten by an ALL TIME GREAT who fights at LIGHT-HEAVYWEIGHT. If what you understand by all this is that Pavlik is just a hype job, you have no clue mate.

Bet you will say the same for Dawson as soon as he suffers a loss.

no thats just it... i DID know, which is why i was one of the few on here saying before the fight that pavlik is overrated and b-hop will make it look easy when he beats him....that's the difference between me and clowns like you who bought into the hype, and was thinking "Pavliks gonna KO hopkins"....get off his dick son, **** outta here

and so what, you think just because someone has a belt that makes them a great fighter?, you need to learn the difference between a GOOD fighter and a GREAT fighter.....it only takes a good fighter to win a title, but it takes a great fighter to beat a legend,...hell even beyond that, it's takes an All Time Great to KO Bernard Hopkins, and THATS why he is a Hypejob.....because you clowns hyped him up like he was an ATG, saying he was gonna KO Hopkins (something that even a PRIME Roy Jones Jr. couldn't even do)

so if you haven't come to reallity yet and realized the boy was overrated, then i think its you who doesn't have a clue...so the fact of the matter is, its just like you said, he's a "middleweight champion", and JUST a middleweight champion....so if you wanna get mad, don't get mad at me or the other people calling it how it is....get mad at yourself for beleiving that Kelly Pavlik was better then Bernard Hopkins, because that's where you ****ed up

and you think i'd say the samething after Dawson loses?, you couldn't be anymore wrong

my favorite fighters Zab Judah...and loses every year,...hell he can't win a big fight to save his life

that alone disproves what you said....so don't confuse me for people who ride hype trains, and get impressed over knocking over a few B class fighters and Hype him up to be something he's not

and better yet.....dont even compare the likes of Chad Dawson to Kelly Pavlik, because there cut from two different cloths

Yes, Dawson is just another great American hype, B-Hop is the hype destroyer.

The B-Hop of Saturday night would. In fact, that version of Hopkins could possibly school anybody fighting today at 175.

Talk about turning back the clock.

    Oooooooo look who's getting mad.
So you're assuming anyone who says something positive about Pavlik MUST be a nuthugger, eh? :-(

How the **** do you know I "bought into the hype"? Have you read any of my posts? Did I ever say Pavlik was "great"? I personally hyped Pavlik??? When did I claim Pavlik was "better" than Hopkins? Why do you reply to me like you're replying to a Youngstown fanboy? WTF???

I like Dawson and of course I'm not comparing him to Pavlik. The guy has a lot more skills and is a Light-Heavyweight after all, when Pavlik is a Middleweight.

Oh, and I didn't call you any names, CHUMP.

PS: So Roy Jones was "PRIME" in 1993, huh? Don't worry, I'm not gonna tell anyone you think that.

The B-Hop of saturday night is the same bhop that always fights, styles make fights and Pavlik was made for Hopkins, i knew Hopkins was gonna win. Not everybody falls for hype you know.

If the winner of RJJ-Calz won't fight bhop, Dawson is the best alternative. I picked Pavlk to beat bhop yesterday so I won't be picking Dawson if ever the two fights.
