Bookies have this fight 60-40 in the favor of Golovkin.

But let's be honest. This is boxing. One against one.

All of us saw probably bigger upset that this fight could be.

How would Floyd's legacy look if Canelo could beat Golovkin?

Nope? I am actualy rooting for Canelo to shut those arogant Golovkin fans out. That would make Floyd's win over Canelo even better

No it wouldnt. Golovkin is fighting a better Canelo than Floyd is. He's fighting Canelo at his peak weight, and prime year. Floyd fought him at 23, GGG is fighting him at 27. The outcome of this fight doesn't affect Floyd at all. Even if GGG dominates Canelo it doesn't taint Floyd's win, it just shows that GGG is a great fighter.

I wouldn't say Canelo was drained against Floyd. Against Trout he was under 154 too so he was obviously still making it comfortably. I think the experience/age factor is the biggest thing. At the full 154 Floyd would have done the same to Canelo. Canelo getting schooled by Floyd helped him improve drastically.

I favor Golovkin. I don't see Canelo winning, but I don't think it's a blow out. I think it's a clear 8-4 type decision for GGG. I don't see GGG outdoing Floyd's performance, but then again the comparison is meaningless.

Did Torrecampo's legacy improve? He KO'd Pacquiao. Same thing. McNelo was green AND drained.

I agree its much closer then 2 years ago back then I would say its a blow out
But Golovkin hits too hard for Canelo and Golovkin will cut the ring of Jacobs for me is a better fighter but has not got the name he is much bigger bigger reach more power and Golovkin still beat him and dropped him and hurt him

I don't know about better "fighter". But I do agree that Jacobs has a better style against Golovkin. He's taller, has a longer reach, has better footwork, and can switch stances. Canelo is smaller than Golovkin, doesn't have the slickest footwork, stays on the ropes too much. Technically speaking someone like Golovkin should be "tailor made" for Canelo since Canelo is a counter puncher that invites come forward fighters in. But Golovkin isn't just a pressure fighter, he has one of the best jabs in the game, and he will use intelligent pressure if you're not Willie Monroe.

Not really. Floyd won 12 rounds in a row, he fought the far bigger guy, and he's not a big puncher at 147 let alone 152. Golovkin can only match Floyd's performance. Floyd was perfect against Canelo. It was not possible for Floyd to stop Canelo. We all know this. So it's unfair to say that because one guy who is known as a puncher got a KO against the guy moving up, it's a better performance.

lol Beating someone to the point you stop them is much better then winning every round to a decision

if Floyd could of beat him and stopped him he would but of course he does not have the ability to do that
