Would be Floyd's legacy look even better if Canelo could manage win against GGG?

    Read my edited post.
So it's unfair to say that because one guy who is known as a puncher got a KO against the guy moving up, it's a better performance.

Floyd literally dominated every second of that fight. Canelo did not have any moments in that fight. That was the definition of a perfect performance.

Stopping someone brutally requires more skills than outpointing them

Floyd can't do what GGG does and that's destroy opponents. He lacks that ability that GGG has.

    Not necessarily.

What happens BEFORE the stoppage can make all the difference. For example, tyson blitzed and koed spinx in one round without taking too many hits. He didnt give him a chance to do anythig really. But against thomas he took many jabs and bombs to the face, was frustrated, got tied up and had to work much harder to get the stoppage in the 7th.

Or another example, it took more skill for larry holmes to box circles around shavers and win a wide decision without taking much damage in their first fight

    Vs

Getting nailed and dropped by a brutal right hand and literally fighting for his life to eventually get the stoppage in an ugly war.

It will have no bearing on Floyd, as Floyd fought a 22 year old Canelo who wasn't the fighter he is now, and he fought him at a catchweight.

No it doesn't you know nothing fool power is not a skill being able to outbox and shut someone out while taking little to no damage is boxing at its highest level the definition of the sweet science. Your post is probably one of the most ignorant posts I've seen in years and that's saying alot. In fact it was so bad that I might use that quote in my signature.

If he dominated every second of that fight, then why were the scores 114-114, 116-112, and 117-111? (and please provide a real answer as ALL 3 judges had it Floyd's closest fight since Castillo & DLH). I've seen Floyd dominate every second of a fight, like against Marquez for example or the last 10 rounds vs Mosley, etc. That's dominating every second of a fight. VS Canelo was a much different story. I get that you love Floyd and it sounds great to say he won every round vs Canelo, but that's just not factually accurate.

Also, will you admit that Floyd was reacting to Canelo's feints early on in that fight in a way that we've never seen Floyd flinch before? I'll admit that Canelo didn't have any major offensive moments, because Floyd was pulling back hard with his upper body every time Canelo tried to land a punch. But that doesn't translate to "dominating every second of the fight".

Ggg can't do what pbf does he lacks the skill to be able to do it. Ggg was getting outboxed by Jacobs and Brook ffs. You have alot to learn about boxing log off until you educate yourself. If we use your logic the guy with the most powerful would always win too bad for you that's not the case casual.

Floyds legacy isnt helped one bit in my eyes although he and his foolish fans are on the canelo train because of he/they know his resume is lacking. He fought canelo at a drained 150lbs at age 22 when canelo was green asf. No credit whatsoever. If floyd wanted a better legacy he shouldve fought the best at there best.

You're a hater who has no credibility anyway you saying he fought him at 150 proves it. Pbf fought canelo past his prime in his 5th weightclass it was a great win far better than anything that ggg has ever done.

A severely weight drained naive Canelo who had yet to face any genuine top contenders.

It was never that great of a win.

Look at the state of Cenelo when he fought Floyd, he looked physically ill. Talk about being starved for the weight, literally. He could have played Christian Bale's character in the Machinist

Pbf is a stylistic nightmare for Canelo and beats any version of him just like he is for jmm. But you're too stupid to realize this and will say anything to further your agenda.
