There will always be excuses because it kills people that Floyd beat everybody, retired undefeated. and there's nothing they can do about it except constantly hear his name being mentioned in the conversation of greatest boxers who ever lived. If Canelo wins, it will enhance Floyd's legacy since he schooled him. If Canelo were to lose, it means nothing since a career middle weight should do better than a guy who's best weight was 130. If Canelo was drained and green (which he wasn't) then Floyd was old and bloated fighting at 152. You can' have it both ways.

Yes I think it was a good win and definitely at the tail end of Floyds career as far as age and weight

Problem is it stands out among a bunch of duds when it should be an average level fight for somebody of Floyd's caliber

You should stick to being a Pimp at the end of my street because you cant do anything else with your life. I will educate you. Power doesn't mean a thing if you don't have the skills to land the punches in the spots that will take down your opponent. This is a skill that Floyd has always boasted about but sadly never displayed. Do you understand Pimp Chanzee?

This doesn't seem like a 60-40 fight to me. Canelo is about to take on the best MW in the world, I'd imagine it's more along the lines of 70-30 or 75-25.

As for the Mayweather fight, that' the worst possible style for Alvarez to face. He's a counterpuncher at heart and likes his opposition to stand in front of him as he dishes out his fast combinations. I never thought he had a chance to beat Floyd but THAT version of Mayweather Jr would be a hard out for anyone. His reflexes and read-reaction time were the best I've seen from him in a very long time. It was arguably his best performance since he moved up to WW or JMW.

Only if Canelo will clearly win all 12 rounds. So, no.

How can you gauge that Canelo is better now than when Mayweather fought him. Canelo has only fought 7 times since his loss to Mayweather. Of those 7 he fought 1 slick boxer(Lara) and that was a disputed victory. A lot of people thought that Canelo lost that fight. 2 guys were much smaller than him(Cotto, Khan) and the other 3 were come forward fighters that had suspect defense. I don't buy into the narrative that Canelo was green or inexperienced when FM fought him either. I find it very difficult to believe that a fighter with 8 years experience and 40+ plus pro fights under his belt is green. No body would ever think of calling Salvador Sanchez green! Yet by 23 both Canelo and Sanchez had over 40 pro fights!

As far as 160 being Canelo's prime weight, again, I can't see how you can gauge that. To say a 27 year old Canelo at 160 is physically better than a 23 Canelo weighing 154 is impossible to prove. IMHO Remember, by 23 Canelo had been fighting pro for 8 years. Look at the level of comp prior to the FM fight and after. In all honesty, I don't see the fighters post FM that could have made CA develop into a much better fighter than when he fought FM.

If Floyd wants to be a man he should face ggg instead of entertaining this McG freak show.

Void lost to Castillo, no doubt about that one.....................the decision was so bad that a rematch was ordered, Void did win the rematch, but he clearly lost to Castillo in the first fight.............
