Would beating Dubois twice do anything for Usyk's legacy?

Like everyone else has said, it's the best fight he can make.

Losing will, winning won't. I'm not really interested in seeing it. Parker is gonna beat Dubois anyway.

Dubois didn't win a round, got dropped twice, and stopped by a jab.

Aside from the odd punch here and there the low blow was his only success.

There's no need to run that back Usyk won in conclusive fashion

And why the hell does Usyk have to beat all these guys twice? I've never seen anything like it

He's a blown up CW campaigning in a division full of giants who are way bigger than him and his natural and optimum fighting weight is about 210lbs and everytime he steps foot into a ring with them he has to navigate his way across and minefield. No one else is expected to fight everyone twice, let alone at a weight class they don't belong in full of giants who hold huge/obscene physically advantages over them and who hit like trucks

AJ got his ass whooped in his backyard and didn't deserve a rematch

Belly got his ass beat and didn't deserve a rematch

Then he got his ass beat again

Dubois got his ass whooped and doesn't deserve one either

Don't forget they were trying hard to make Usyk vs AJ III too

Why isn't Crawford being pressured to rematch Madrimov it was a controversial razor-close decision, Madrimov was the champ, and he brought his belt to Crawford's country and fought him with a US ref and three US judges? And Crawford was heavier than Madrimov with a way longer reach, not 55lbs lighter with a 7'' shorter reach

I'm not taking shots at Crawford I'm just using him as an example and highlighting the crazy double standard and it's the norm for almost all fighters sans Usyk. When they clearly beat their opponents it's thanks for the belt, I'm the champ now, I'm the better man, onto the next but when Usyk does it, whilst giving away massive physical advantages which makes actually beating them in the first place way more difficult, way more physically demanding, and way more dangerous, it's hold up, where are you going, son? You got to run it back.

Obviously rematches are fairly common but no one is expected to do what Usyk does

    Pointless fight.

I'd prefer Usyk v Parker. Usyk Running the risk of going too long as well.

Dubois has improved since the Usyk loss but right now it really would be pointless. Let's see how he does vs Parker and pick up another good win or two and then yes it would be then add a little to his legacy having beating a prime Dubois.

Dubois beating Parker is not a foregone conclusion imo,I would not be surprised at all if Parker were to beat Dubois. As already mentioned both Dubois and Parker are the two current fighters on merit who deserve the fight with Usyk, with Kabayel next on the list below them .

Other than beating him without going down from an obvious low blow, that his delusional haters desperately tried to twist it into something that it wasn't. He gains absolutely nothing from it. It's an utterly pointless fight, a needless risk and a waste of time. Dubois after all has a tendency to be dirty, it's not necessarily his intention, he's just a reckless and dumb fighter. So dropping him with another low blow isn't out of the question. God forbid a ref actually stopped him on it. Crazier things have happened. Ironically, Dubois has improved because of that loss, which gave him the boost of confidence he needed. Which would lead to him fighting Usyk more recklessly, and most likely getting stopped even earlier. So Daniel stands to lose more than he will gain from a rematch as well. Usyk has proved all he needs to prove, accomplished all he needs to accomplish. He should retire unbeaten and unscathed with his health intact and sail off into the sunset, the icon that he is. With the perfect record and the perfect career. Sure, people will say he's not accomplished as much as the all-time greats with 70 matches. But this is a different era with a different mindset, he didn't need to waste his time beating 50 bums, working his way into the 20 important fights at the end. He cut right to the chase, and started with the 20 important fights at the end. As the meme says, Usyk has completed boxing.

It's just a stupid fight to make if you don't have to. It does almost nothing for his legacy and risks ruining it all.

I think Dubious is another hyped fighter made to look good by beating an old AJ and the Croatian guy who wasn't exactly Wlad 2.0. There's no guarantee he doesn't quit again against Joyce or the first fighter to apply pressure to him. The promoters lucked out with him because his stock was looking pretty bad until the Croatian ruined everything for us.

However, the fact remains he is a dangerous puncher and a lot younger than Usyk and with the backing to get a robbery. Why risk it? The fight almost certainly won't be as easy as last time since Usyk is older and Dubious is more confident and experienced.

Remember when Fury was supposed to easily handle Wilder the third time? Turns out when you keep fighting punchers they keep having chances to deck you. So get the win and move on if you can and you're old.

A better legacy fight for Usyk is to fight Beterbiev at cruiser and KO him. Obviously he wants to stay at HW and keep his belts so that probably doesn't happen and therefore he's going to be doing risky things as he heads towards 40 and keeps going back to the well.

I also think people are sleeping on Parker. He's looked very competent lately and let's not be surprised if Usyk ends up facing Parker and not Dubois. I'd much prefer to see Usyk tested against a new guy than Dirty Dubious.

Well, technically i'm not sure it counts as 2 x Undisputed in the grand scheme of things, but Usyk doesn't have all 4 belts now and - unless another org strips him before any Dubois fight - if he beats Dubois then he'd have all 4 belts again, cementing his undisputed claim.

However, Dubois has to get past Parker and no guarantee of that, and by the time - lets say May/June - Dubois vs Usyk 2 was scheduled, Usyk would likely no longer have one of the other belts - especially if it's stripped as a cherry for Fury vs Joshuan to fight over

 I think Usyk is ''He''

    ''The One''

    ''The chosen one''

But what if, maybe.. just maybe.. I might be ''he''?

That Serge might be ''The One''?

    Hmm..

This. For me, the 'bodyshot' is the only questionable moment in Usyk's career, and I mean really questionable not 'hands of the judges' questionable. If he renatches Dubois and spanks THIS version of Dubois, it definitely means something and takes away any argument. I thought Usyk somewhat uncharacteristically let himself down after their first fight, continually claiming he was punched 'in the balls' although that may have been a linguistic thing more than sour grapes, he is such a classy guy I'll definitely give him the benefit...but yes, beating a much better version of Dubois and removing the bodyshot doubts would tick a big box for me. Personally, I'm not sure if he needs it at this stage. If, as I expect, Dubois comprehensively beats Parker, he becomes probably the most dangerous 'contender', young and getting better every fight...does Usyk need that kind of heat as he gets older? Fight wouldn't happen for best part of a year and Usyk isn't gonna beat father time on a points decision...

...now, watch Parker smash Dubois and make a fool out of me..again!!

Just listened to Simon Jordan, Duke McKenzie and Spencer Oliver all bigging up Dubois's chances to beat Usyk and saying how tough of a fight it is for him...am I on crazy pills? Dubois didn't win a second of his fight with Usyk...his confidence may have improved with his run of form but he was totally bamboozled and outclassed by Usyk. It wasn't competitive.
