Just re watched there fight, I thought bellew gave it a good go in parts, loading up bombs but missing a lot.

I think he may have had more success had stevenson had been orthodox.

    What do you think?

I must have watched a different fight, from what I remember Bellew for all his boasts about what he was going to do to the "midget" was on the back foot for most of it and was stopped without much fuss.

I do not think Stevenson being a southpaw had much to do with it, Sometimes it is just about levels and Bellew is not world level.

He might have had more success if Stevenson wasn't a puncher.

Looked to me as if he was in survival mode from the first bell.

Stevenson would need to become a Thalidomide for Bellew to have a chance of winning on points.

He looked completely in awe of Stevenson.

Whilst not wishing to hate, I've not seen anything from Bellew to suggest he's world class. I think either Huck or Hernandez would beat him easily. Interestingly Ovil McKenzie is above him in the world ratings, so maybe they could have a third fight.

I thought he was doing alright before the first knockdown. Not winning but in with a shout

Even so, I would still bet on Bellow being stopped inside 8 rounds.
