Would Bernard Hopkins have had a successful career without illegal tactics?

    Well...Hopkins was going to quit from those slaps:lol: He had to fake being hurt or he was going to be stopped on pure workrate.

    Even with the corrupted ref and Golden Boy judges, Calzaghe was victorious.

    Calzaghe fouled with almost every blow he threw. He SLAPS not punches. He seemed incapable of throwing a LEGAL punch.
    They used to call it blows with the inside of the glove or lacing dangerous likely to cause cuts. Plus Calzaghe was not really undefeated Hopkins beat him but got shafted:fire

    Yes, that answer is the equilevent of saying Wlad wouldnt have had the career hes had, had he not been allowed to excessively clinch so much. :good

    He seems better at giving sneaky headbutts than any fighter I've ever watched. It's a major part of his game, no doubt about it.

    Well for one thing he'd have had a stoppage loss on his record to a "white boy" "slapper"

    Kovalev seems the type where if a fighter tries that sort of **** on him will enrage the beast within - should be fun!

    Yes there is certainly a blatant double standard. Of course we know this is dictated by where the fighter is from and the color of their skin. What can you expect from a guy who posts at caste football? :-(

    If Povetkin was Lionel Phillips from Philly and if Wladimir was Sam Jones Jr from Detroit, and boxed exactly the same way, you'd love them. If B-Hop was Sergey Hopenko from Ukraine and used the same illegal tactics in every fight, we'd never hear the end of it from you.

    No one who posts in any boxing forum has a more obvious nationalistic and racist double standard than you do. That's why you were permanently banned from the 'scene.

    You don't even watch boxing anymore, all you do is troll the forums expressing your hatred for East European boxers and harassing their fans.

    Why won't the likes of JAB5239 and dinovelvet admit they are racists? It's very obvious they hate Slavic people.
