No. He doesn't have the speed nor the power to threaten Roy. Roy will hurt him more than the other way around and beat him to the punch.

Bivol's solid jab and skills will keep him reasonably competitive. But Bivol is far too basic to beat RJJ. Bivol has mastered the fundamentals to an extreme degree but he does not have the extraordinary gifts to deal with RJJ.

Sure. Griffin-Jones I was a tough fight for Roy. Why not Bivol? He's not a fluke or something.

 

Griffin was an unorthodox fighter who also gave Toney issues twice

Let's not forget prime Beterbiev. Bivol fought an aging Beterbiev who, while still very good, wasn't the peak version.
