The difference between Tysons Bobbing and weaving with Rooney and after Rooney is significant. Previously he would really train hard with that willee, his head movement would last up to 5-6 rounds, after that Rooney had to scream and shout to remind him to keep it up. Plus his timing was perfect, he would move his head perfectly when the opponent would jab or throw a punch.

After Rooney when he abandoned his road work, the head movement was slow, predictable, he would move his head for the sake of moving his head even when the opponent is not throwing anything, when the opponent did throw something it would be very slow and ofcourse by round 2-3 Tyson would just abandon it and resort to brawling while relying on his chin.

Tyson used it perfectly, he would not only Bob and weave making the opponent miss the jab or punch but immediately after wards he would rush in quick time and unleash his combinations to the body and head leaving the opponent in a daze as to what happened

i would say it happens all the time in boxing to different degrees. weather the fighter has a peek a boo style or his hands low,it still happens, but not enough guys have the footwork to make it a style
