Regardless of who your a supporter of or if you just support the sport itself I'm sure there are issues you are tired of in the sport of boxing.

    - Corrupt Promoters
    - Corrupt Sanctioning Bodies
    - Fighters Ducking Fights
    - Made Up Catch Weights
    - Too Many Belts
    - Fights Not Being Made
    - Fighters being treated well

Do you think that if boxing turned into a league of some sort (NATIONAL BOXING LEAGUE) that it would be more successful? I think that the current format boxing is using is outdated and can't be successful in todays environment. A league would be much much better if you ask me.

Never watched an MMA fight in my life, so I don't know how the sport is structured.

UFC is a promotion, just with a lot of fighters and they can only fight each other. And since there's no legit global sanctioning body for MMA they make up their belts, weight classes and rankings.

Having multiple promotions is good, there's no competition in US because you have monopolies like NBA, NFL and others. Their quality is VERY low, in fact it's garbage.

UFC does not pay the fighter nearly as well as boxing potentially can. UFC's structure is basically the same as WWE. One guy making all the money. While the guys putting their health on the line make whatever he says they can make.

Boxing my have lots of corruption and hurdles to making the fights fans want to see, but from a fighter's perspective they have opportunity to make their own way. A fighter can become his own promoter, negotiate each fight the way he sees fit. UFC fighters are basically slaves to what Dana White wants.

2014 was pretty bad for boxing.

It would definitely benefit if the best were forced to fight the best.

Yes they are, their product is pathetic, look at NFC South, am I supposed to call that pro football?:patsch

Half the players in NBA and NFL posses no talent or skill, they are not in shape or can be called professional athletes.

But NFL and NBA are monopolies so Americans are forced to watch this garbage and they don't know any better, they think it's the best.

In most ways yes, it's evolving as a global sport with cards all over the world, diverse fighters and multiple promoters competing with each other all trying to capture internationally recognized belts.

With US sports it's the same **** just rehashed every year, quality is not going up. I did find NHL to be the most enjoyable to watch, there are about 10 teams in NFL worth watching, rest are garbage.

The NFL is garbage?? You lost all credibility with that ridiculous statement (I cannot comment on the NBA as I am not a basketball fan).

Boxing is evolving?? It has been around for over 200 years and the sad truth is, it is devolving into a "Let us all avoid any serious competition for as long as we can" political mess!!

There can be up to four people, at the same time, fighting in the same weight division, proclaiming themselves "World Champion" and once upon a time, there was only one World Champion, how the hell is that a positive form of evolution??

In the NFL, the best HAVE to play the best (in AFC/NFC Play-offs, Championship games and ultimately, the Super Bowl) and with the salary cap and draft system, it has in place one of the best formulas for parity (it is just that many Franchises are poorly run and they blow their draft picks and salary cap).

Put it this way, if the NFL's system was put in place for European soccer, you would have leagues that were far more competitive!!

The English Premier League can only be won by three or four teams at most and it has been that way for the past 15 years or more..out of a league of 20 teams, that is horrendous!!
