Would Boxing not be more enjoyable if fighters weren't so protective of their "0"?

The boxer that got me into boxing was Joe Frazier. The fight was 'The Thrilla in Manila'.

To this day, he showed the heart of the sport which I still hold dear. I'm worried that there isn't that warrior instinct in boxing atm, at least that's encouraged to thrive.

Promoters and TV channels, they're happy to put on 'whoever for that much' and say that 'they're that good' . And the result is...mostly lacklustre and quite often s#!t.

I'm of the opinion that most boxers come into the game for the sport so I'd love to see many more boxers turn away from the interests of those organising the fights and face those willing to play their fortune in the ring.
