Would either Bradley/Khan or Bradley/Cotto be a big money fight or do well on PPV? I always wanted to see Bradley fight Khan and/or Cotto. All 3 fighters have similar sizes/weight and are "names" in the boxing world. Always thought these matchups should've been made a long time ago.
Bradley can deliver on PPV, but it has to be a compelling fight. Right now he has no momentum and no dance partner. As each of them lost their last fight, i would not see any PPV doing well. Cotto is the only PPV drawn and he can always pull in some numbers, but i doubt it would be worth it.
They'd be decent fights on PPV, nothing big. Bradley/Khan would be lower than the Cotto fight, neither of them crack 600k imo.
Hold on! 600k? You do realize that thats a big number, right? Khan Bradley would likely be estimated at 400k tops, if they both had actual momentum. Heck, looking back at 2011, i don´t remember much talk about it being PPV then. We are likely talking about a figure that sits around 200k. Even Cotto at the moment wouldn´t likely crack much over 300k. If he even got to that.
You're right, I went too high. I know the khan fight would blow but the cotto fight would be decent. Considering Pac Bradley didn't sell that well though, I imagine neither would cotto Bradley.
Cotto and Bradley could definitely do over 300k if they built it up. Both take interim fights to re-establish their image and regain momentum. But i ****ing HATE PPV! Every big fight on HBO this year has been on PPV and all upcoming fights of significant magnitute will be as well. Why do boxing fans even subscribe to HBO?
yeah...boxing fans pay for hbo because its just what you're used to doing...hbo has good programming though so its still worth it....but the fight side of it is in steep decline..... Oscar, bob and hbo made their beds....al is running things...al isn't likely going away either
Depends what the undercard is... On its own with a sub Top Rank style trying to pander features like Zurdo or Valdez ect. I'd say 200k tops
