Would Calz survive being tagged as much against pavlik as he did against kessler?

    Wrong!!!

A good clean shot from Pavlik can put any fighter off their gameplan no matter who they are.

Kessler is faster however, has better footwork, and most importantly, is the SMARTER fighter RIGHT NOW because of his experience.

Pavlik's downfall may be his power. Like most puncher, he may rely too much on it.

    We'll see though.

Right now though, I would pick Calzaghe and Kessler over Pavlik by UD.

Well, he'd have to watch two hands against Pavlik, not just one.

Take that for what its worth.

    The Lacy comparisons are ridiculous.

a 5'8" brawler with no jab being compared with a 6'1" boxer-puncher who was outjabbing Taylor in their bout.

    Ummmm.

    Yeah.

Green KDed Miranda, and I think he'd been down once before as well.

But yeah, based on who they fought and what the results were, I think it's pretty obvious that Pavlik has better power than Kessler. The 8 lb difference isn't THAT big.

IMO Kessler hits much harder than Pavlik.

Do not underestimate Pav. The guy just put B-hops daddy on ice after climbing off the canvas, and adjusting to Taylor. His chin is very shaky though. I cannot believe that he went down from those 10 or 12 pea shooter shots from Taylor. At least he got back up @ the count of 2. It's a good thing he didn't get hit by those same twelve shots later in the round, he might have been down for a count of 5-6, and if that happened 3 times in the 2nd round, who knows he may have been KTFO. He needs to talk to Roberto Duran about taking a punch better.

You think Calzaghe will allow Pavlik to land a lot?, he might catch him a few times like Lacy did but it will be Calzaghe landing at will with major bombs over and over. This fight will be a brutal yet easy win for Calzaghe.

I can't understand what makes them think Pavlik hits so ****ing hard. He hit Miranda with clean perfect power shots for 7 rounds before he finished him. He'd be lucky to ever land even a handful of perfect shots like that on Joe.
