Would Calzaghe have been the best ever if his hands had stayed injury free?

Once again, you can't offer any sort of an an answer.

    Just nonsense.

How have you got the nerve to say I waffle?

    Ha!

I can take things literally from a fighters mouth if they can back it up and it's legitimate.

    Again, these articles are ridiculous.

Joe really wanted Roy because he and Frank said so.

    Ha!

    Pathetic.

Again, a big money fight was never viable. And Roy was never going to drop back down to face a relatively unknown WBO champ, when his other options were huge fights against Ruiz and Tarver.

Now, if Joe had actually moved up to LHW and made some waves, he could possibly have become Roy's mandatory, or had he have impressed the U.S. public, they may have been a demand to see the fight.

How anyone can believe that Joe was genuine is absolutely baffling. It's a real head scratcher. This is the guy who in 2003-2004, struggled to make weight so he could remain at SMW, even though he knew he couldn't unify, and that there was nothing else on the horizon. (his exact words)

This was a guy who boasted of his 21 WBO defences, that included defences against the likes of Kabary Salem when he was in his 30's.

This was a guy who walked around at 190 pounds, who could have moved up to LHW (which was a stronger division than SMW) whenever he'd have wanted.

    You're living in a fantasy.

A guy who seriously wanted to fight Roy, would not have hugged a lightly regarded belt for 11 years, and been happy to fight the Manfredo's of the world up.

    Wise up.

Now if you're not going to answer my questions from my previous post, then don't bother replying.

I've got some of his earliest fights that they missed on this "collection" of Joe's "devastating" stoppages. They would add immensely to the hilarity. There's one where his opponent pointedly and with disdain simply drops his hands and allows Joe to hit him .. does it repeatedly in the fight .. laughing at Joe's complete lack of a punch .. and the ref stops the fight on him .. only in Cardiff ... lol

You could combine Ottke's and Calzaghe's career stoppages and you'd still have to lean toward Ann Wolfe as the heavier puncher of the three at 168. Joe's entire career was about the quantity of punches thrown. It was not about accuracy, not about technique, not about quality .. and certainly nothing at all - ever - about power. "Brittle hands" is apparently some Welsh fairy tale handed out by Enzo and lapped up by those too young to have watched Joe's career.

    Really ?

Does Froch have Missus Gee on his resume ?

    I think not !

That alone elevates the Welsh dragon over any SMW ever.

Or could I be mistaken ?
Could Missus Gee have succumbed to other 'Super' Middle weights ?

Froch went life and death with a past his best Kessler twice, losing one of them. Super Joe, slightly past his best, beat prime Kessler pretty easily.

No difference. Calzaghe was a arm puncher . The heavy punchers put there whole bodyweight into punches.
The shoulder , everything .That's why most heavy punchers had slow footwork. Marciano , Louis , Arguello ,
Shavers , Foreman , Liston , Tua , Cooney . Because to land power shots you have to plant your feet.

froch beat kessler at home better than joe struggled with injured kessler. joe needed kesslers injury to resurface before he managed to overtake kessler.
joe did not beat froch away in denmark, same as froch.

    froch is ahead.

He is if he calls himself it anyway. Works for Mayweather because he was undefeated.

Froch lost to Kessler 3 years after JC beat him.

Froch then got a decision over Kessler 6 years after JC had already beaten a peak 28yo Kessler.

    JC beat MK 116-112, 116-112 and 117-111

    CF beat MK 118-110, 116-112 and 115-113

In other words Froch never beat the better Kessler or easier than super Joe.

sure he did, joe was losing till kesslers hand went.

    froch was always ahead.

in fact, evidence suggests mikkel wins with 2 hands against joe.

Evidence proves Calzaghe beat Kessler, a peak Kessler, whilst Froch went 0-1 with a past prime Kessler and only got his win when Kessler was semi retired.

These are facts, yours are not.
