Would Calzaghe have destroyed Nigel Benn just like he did Eubanks if they fought?

I think theres an actual interview where Benn admits Calzaghe might have beaten him.......If anyone knows or has it please post it

 

Calzaghe 'destroyed' Eubank did he? I must have been watching a different fight to you my friend.

Put prime Calslappy in the ring with prime Eubank or prime Benn and you've got a seriously competitive fight on your hands. Put Calslappy in there with 1997 Eubank or Benn and Calslappy wins easily.

If Benn or Eubank had been prime when Calslappy was prime the fights wouldn't have happened, Joe would have ran for the valleys and his behind his dad, like he did with the potential match up with Glen Johnson or Roy Jones :deal

 

I reckon Calzaghe outboxes Benn (in and out fast hand speed) but its still very competitive.

 

Watch the Watson fight and the aftermath. Eubank was a hard headed ****er but much as he denied it he was NEVER the same again after doing that to Watson.

shed a ton of weight and fought on a couple of weeks notice. he was also some thing like 4 years past his best performances.

 

The Calzaghe hate in you is strong but what you say is true, Chris was a changed man after that night. I give a prime Eubank who punches at full strength a good chance of stopping a green Calzaghe.

 

since when did he destroy eubank? it was a pretty hard fought match.

cal has a great chin..one of the best...yet, he would NEVER have experienced the power of a nigel benn....benn, like joe, was most dangerous when hurt....and joe would sting him for sure.....benn however was a fantastic finisher and if he caught joe, i doubt he would give him the chance to recover like jones and hopkins did....

i make cal a 60/40 favourite over benn, although benn is my favourite fighter...

..and i make eubank a 60/40 favourite over cal......styles as ever make fights, and prime for prime, eubank is one hard sob to get a w over......

 

He was just being humble, unlike Clapzaghe who has never shown an inch of humility.

Both Ben and Chris would have hit Joe so hard, his grand dad balls would hurt.
