Would Calzaghe have entered the super 6??

No too big of a risk,Calzaghe doesnt take risks.. so Like u said "He would not want to ruin his fradulent legacy

 

being the undisputed no.1, I doubt he would have taken part. Probably a more likely scenario would have been the winner of the tournament earning the right to fight Calzaghe.

..and then Joe would beat them embarrassingly easily and several million more Americans would scratch their heads and come up with more reasons why this happened, other than Calzaghe is a great boxer.

cal is a *****. style makes fights and i doubt he will make it out on top. hell kessler was outboxing joe until he gassed.

Kessler get's hyped beyond belief. When he gets exposed during the super 6, the Calzaghe fanboys will have to resort to hyping Manfredo.

I'm not too concerned with Calzaghe, it's the Kessler hype that I just don't understand. In any case, we'll see what happens in the tournament.

 

Kessler is good fighter. Ward and his friends are counting on cheating Kessler in his home town, with Ward's judges, referee, commentators, etc., but I suspect Kessler will stop Ward and spoil their cheating.

 

I don't see why not. He beat the guy who's the best in the tournament (Kessler) and he would roll the others.

Only reason he wouldn't do it is if there were a big payday or challenge for him not to do it, IMO.

 

I think he would have liked to...but I dont see Warren ever allowing it.

 

Calzaghe would've won the tournament. I'm NOT a fan of his style and I personally think that he fought only mediocre to very easy opposition for a large part of his career. However, he won against Kessler and Hopkins. You can't take that away from him. And to retire unbeaten is something that only very few fighters have achieved. Calz was too fast for the super six guys. As always I give AA a puncher's chance though ;-)
