Thats how I see it. Probably a bit easier than the Kessler fight though.

Yes. Hopkins ****ing handspeed on the inside tore him apart. He would deal with Calzaghe hopelessly. I could see a pity stoppage from the ref, something like Manfredo.

If it was not totally effective. It was completely uneffective for Calzaghe you clown asses. Calzaghe did not LAND ****. EVERY one of his flurries landed on gloves shoulders or just ****ing missed. Replaying the fight just as Bhop said, he was not hitting me. Nobody gives a **** about how much sloppy arm punches you throw or slaps or whatever you call that **** Calzaghe does that is ****ing ugly and just sloppy to watch. He is a sloppy ass fighter. He will never be mentioned in the same breath as the elite skilled fighters. He lacked one quality they had, he dont look good doing it. People seeing him slapping at manfredo against the ropes do nothing but laugh at him. That aint skill. :rofl When you see Roy put punches together even past his prime like in the tito fight he puts PUNCHES together. Straight clean punches. Bhop got hit flush by Roy, countless times. You cant even show me a ****ing gif, highlight, close up, replay of Calzaghe landing a clean punch. He won on his activity and Bhops inactivity. That is not a decisive win. If you euro whores claim a fight in which one fighter won every single god damned round he was active in and only lost rounds b/c of inactivity is decisive of who is the better fighter. :rofl:rofl We would not have rematches then. But Euro clowns, we do, we do have rematches. Did Frazier and Ali rematch? Did Duran and Ray Leonard. You dont get a split decision and claim you won even though everybody saw you not land **** and basically get beat to the punch whenever there was action.

  4. Why are so many people fixated on Calzaghe's power? If it was so bad his opponents would walk through his punches and win wouldn't they!?!? .......................

Pavlik is nothing like Lacy and Calzaghe is nothing like Hopkins.

I think Calzgahe would have had a much harder time against Pavlik than Hopkins did.

Plus Hopkins beating Pavlik is a much better win than Calzaghe beating lacy.

Lacy was a truely overated paper champion.

Pavlik is a much better fighter than Lacy and a true champion!

Yes he would of did it before Hopkins beat Pavlik and after !!!

  7. For the record many many Europeans stated Kessler was better than Pavlik for months upon months only Americans wouldn't listen (as usual).

Kessler will beat Pavlik when they eventually meet but I doubt this thread will be remembered when that happens. Joe beats them both, Pavlik even easier.

(For the record I think Kessler's a wasted talent now anyway; the guy fights bums and seems happy to do so. Joe broke him mentally)

The fact that he put Eubank on his backside sort of completely ruins your case for Calzaghe being a light hitter dont you think?

...dont tell me you considered Eubanks to be china chinned?!

Not on here he wouldnt. Pavlik would all of a sudden been an overhyped bum, who JC slapped around a bit. Like Lacy. And Kessler.

First off your post is trash. It is not well put together, confusing, and convoluted. I ought to ignore this post since you talked about Roy hitting Hop countless times. You didn't see the fight because that didn't happen. Roy won, but he had a hard fight with Hop too, and that's why they didn't rematch for years. Maybe Roy knew, and Roy is my boy over Hop and Cal. Comparing how Roy beat Hop to how Cal did it is a weak point. What is the point? a more definitive win? You a Pavlik fan? Cal would serve PAv's ass. Cal beat Hop, and he whether you thought it was more BHop's inactivity or not, Cal was in the ring with him. I rooted for Hop and wondered why he fought the way he did. One answer. Cal's speed. You can call Euro fans trash if you want to degenerate, but I'm a black man from NJ defending a guy like Cal. What are you even trying to say about rematches naming legends? Call Cal sloppy, but nobody looks good against Hop. Since the Roy Jones fight, name a guy who looked good against hop. Sergundo Mercado and who else? You quote my post, come with something I can respond to with respect. What you posted was utter trash.

No, your power doesn't come into question if you are a guy who isn't known for being a big puncher. Let me tell you something about those bigger punchers you talk about. Maybe these are the guys. Jt was a bum, Miranda a bum, Zertuche a bum. They were tailor made for Pav. Cal doesn't exhibit poor punching technique many times, what the heck is that about!!!??? lol:rofl . What's a legit stoppage? Many guys who get older don't get legit stoppages. Hop doesn't have many legit stoppages in his last how many fights? Cal is a guy who has respectable power. Cal would go to Pav's head and body and beat the tar out of PAvlik and you know it. Whether he stops Pav or not, is one's opinion. You go one way, and I go the other. Just because he didn't stop Lacy doesn't mean he can't stop Pav.

I don't care wen it comes to to does what better between Cal and Hop on who does what better. Cal only needs to worry about what he does best and Hop also. What Cal's done so far has worked for him. Guys call it sloppy, and no power lol...Who you talking about Scott Pemberton? You talking about one fight with Hop in which he won and didn't look good, and that's it.
