Would Canelo Alverez dominate a prime Jack Dempsey from round 1 (Boxing Evolution Theory)

There's no depth of good fighters, the American boxing scene is at it's lowest level ever . I doubt anyone would dispute that, just look at the heavyweight division

 

Which has got nothing to do, with whether or not there are fewer boxers today, worldwide!

 

Canelo would vacate to age dempsey out some more, 40+ years passed away not quite enough for him.

2. Greb was a relentless swarmer with insane stamina.

 

1. We have weight classes for a reason.

2. Fights are ALWAYS determined by how any two guys match up on the night stylistically.

 

In most other sports, people will tell you that there is a noticeable difference athletes of 30-40 years ago, than those of today.

Yet in boxing, that is true, but in favour of the fighters FROM 30-40 years ago.


No, it’s not a crime.

But again, give a breakdown.


Again, fights are determined by how the guys match up on the night stylistically.


Again, Thomas Hearns was a great technician.

Yet he lost twice to Iran Barkley.


Again, Floyd barely beat Marcos Maidana.

 

But he didn’t lose.


Because it was a spar.

Not even a full spar.


Also, stylistically, Greb and Canelo are NOTHING alike.


One is a defensive counter puncher, with slow feet and stamina issues.

Whereas Greb was described by everybody, as being a relentless, volume punching swarmer, who had incredible stamina.

They’re just completely ignoring the weight classes and the stylistic match up, to just obsess about the dates instead.

 

If you think Dempsey would win and comfortably that's fine. I don't we just won't agree on the outcome on this sorry man.

And what is this based upon exactly?


Jack would have been a very fast and powerful LHW-CW today.


Who has Canelo beaten at those weights, with that that style and those attributes??
