    I'm liking the Mex-PR market to bring the fight to another level.

    That rivalry has always been marketable, and Cotto is still one of the best the island has produced.

    Canelo is the newest Mexican star considering that Chavez jr. is not as putting work as seriously as he should.

    And the fight sounds like a guaranteed fireworks display.

    Canelo has the 1M potential, and he's probably the most popular fighter in Mexico ever, I mean just crazy ratings, but he's not THAT popular in the US yet. Canelo-Floyd would sell like hotcakes however.

    It will do more than Martinez v Chavez Jr - Canelo is becoming the main Mexican attraction, Cotto is much more popular than Martinez - this beats 500k

    1m? No chance but with good promotion I think it has the potential to do around 700k - Cotto has a huge fanbase and they are in a position to really milk Canelo's popularity

    On Showtime, they'll be lucky to do half of that. Didn't Cotto-Marg II on HBO do only 600K?
